Abstract

The development of information technology that leads to internet technology changes fundamental changes to the development of the telecommunications world. The development trend of multimedia service applications has combined video and voice communication. In this service the user uses the required data rate / bitrate. Data rate affects the resulting video. With the existing data rate of 97.5 Mbps, the calculation results in this study are obtained. From the calculation and calculation of the number of users who were able to reach as many as 47 participants. The data rate for one user is 2056 Kbps for clear video results and uninterrupted sound. The throughput value at Zoom after testing six times, namely: 1,342 Mbps, 25 Mbps, 24 Mbps, 5,250 Mbps, 2,413 Mbps, and 6.49 Mbps. The throughput value on Skype after testing was six times: 4,204 Mbps, 30 Mbps, 30 Mbps, 2,413 Mbps, 29 Mbps, and 194 Mbps. Value of packet loss at Zoom after testing six times, namely: 0.021%, 0.003%, 0.007%, 0.002%, 0.001%, and 0.001%. The value of packet loss on Skype after testing six times, namely: 0.009%, 0.001%, 0.001%, 0%, 0.0005%, and 0.0007%. The average value of delay on Zoom after testing six times, namely: 2.54 ms, 0.28 ms, 0.31 ms., 0.88 ms, 0.321 ms. 0.813 ms. The average value of delay on Skype after testing was six times: 1.14 ms, 0.02 ms, 0.22 ms, 1.83 ms, 0.233 ms, and 0.015 ms. The jitter values obtained on Zoom and Skype on the first tester are respectively 0.0003 ms and 0.0007 ms. From the 2nd to 6th testers the Zoom and Skype jitter results obtained were 0 ms. Keywords: Zoom, Skype, QoS, throughput, packet loss, delay, jitter Perkembangan teknologi informasi yang mengarah pada teknologi internet membawa perubahan yang sangat mendasar bagi perkembangan dunia telekomunikasi. Trend perkembangan aplikasi layanan multimedia telah menggabungkan komunikasi video dan voice. Pada layanan konferensi ini user bergantung pada penggunaan data rate/ bitrate yang dibutuhkan. Data rate berpengaruh terhadap video yang dihasilkan. Dengan data rate yang ada sebesar 97.5 Mbps maka didapatkan hasil perhitungan pada penelitian ini. Dari pengujian dan perhitungan didapatkan jumlah user aktif yang mampu dijangkau yaitu sebanyak 47 partisipan. Data rate untuk satu user sebesar 2056 Kbps untuk hasil video yang jernih dan suara yang tidak putus-putus. Nilai throughput pada Zoom setelah dilakukan pengujian sebanyak enam kali yaitu: 1.342 Mbps, 25 Mbps, 24 Mbps, 5.250 Mbps, 2.413 Mbps, dan 6.49 Mbps. Nilai throughput pada Skype setelah dilakukan pengujian sebanyak enam kali yaitu: 4.204 Mbps, 30 Mbps, 30 Mbps, 2.413 Mbps, 29 Mbps, dan 194 Mbps.
