Abstract

Loss of valuables such as motorcycles, cars and others and the loss of family members and relatives can be caused by factors of natural disaster or because of recent crimes such as kidnapping, theft, mugging, robbery and murder. The difficulty of finding information about the whereabouts of missing persons, family or relatives and also to search for information on the existence of lost goods either personal property or property of the organization and also the difficulty of the police to track the existence of fugitives (DPO) is a problem that often happens lately. Missing person information system and lost items can display missing persons information, lost items and DPO, This web-based information system built using PHP as programming language and MySQL as database and by using SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) methodology is expected with the existence of system this information is expected to make it easier for the public or authorities such as police and SAR teams to find or track the whereabouts of missing persons, lost items and DPOs, in addition to narrowing the wards of criminals. Keywords: Information system, Missing persons search and lost items, System Development Life Cycle. kehilangan anggota keluarga maupun kerabat dapat diakibatkan karena faktor bencana alam atau karena tindak kejahatan yang marak terjadi belakangan ini seperti penculikan, pencurian, penodongan, perampokan hingga pembunuhan. Susahnya mencari informasi mengenai keberadaan orang hilang baik itu keluarga maupun kerabat dan juga mencari informasi keberadaan barang hilang baik itu harta pribadi atau milik organisasi dan juga sulitnya pihak kepolisian untuk melacak keberadaan buronan (DPO) merupakan suatu permasalahan yang sering terjadi belakangan ini. Sistem informasi pencarian orang hilang dan barang hilang dapat menapilkan informasi orang hilang, barang hilang dan DPO, Sistem informasi ini berbasi web yang dibangun menggunakan PHP sebagai bahasa pemrograman dan MySQL sebagai database dan dengan menggunakan metodologi SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) diharapkan dengan adanya sistem informasi ini diharapkan dapat mempermudah masyarakat atau pihak berwenang seperti kepolisian dan tim SAR untuk menemukan atau melacak keberadaan orang hilang, barang hilang dan juga DPO, disamping itu juga dapat mempersempit ruang gerak para pelaku criminal. Kata kunci: Sistem informasi, Pencarian orang hilang dan barang hilang, System Development Life Cycle.
