Abstract

Scheduling is an activity created to be able to assist in carrying out daily activities. The importance of this scheduling is so that activities can run according to what has been planned and in order. The process of making a schedule at the Satria Serengseng West Jakarta vocational high school still uses Microsoft Excel which contains component parts such as teachers, subjects and classes in the time component, so there are still frequent clashes between one schedule and another schedule. To overcome this, researchers have an effort to design a scheduling system using genetic algorithms. Genetic algorithms are one of the most appropriate algorithms used to solve complex optimization problems that are difficult to do by conventional methods. This research is expected to be able to find a solution to the optimization and problems of teaching scheduling in Satria Serengseng West Jakarta Vocational High School. Keywords: Information Systems, Scheduling, Genetic Algorithms Pendahuluan Penjadwalan merupakan kegiatan yang dibuat untuk dapat membantu dalam melakukan aktivitas sehari-hari. Pentingnya penjadwalan ini agar kegiatan dapat berjalan dengan sesuai yang telah di rencanakan dan di tata rapi. Proses dalam membuat jadwal di SMK Satria Serengseng Jakarta Barat masih menggunakan Microsoft excel yang berisi dari bagian komponen seperti guru, mata pelajaran dan kelas pada komponen waktu, sehingga masih sering terjadi bentrok antara salah satu jadwal dengan jadwal lainnya. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut, peneliti memiliki upaya untuk merancang sistem penjadwalan menggunakan algoritma genetika. Algoritma genetika merupakan salah satu algoritma yang sangat tepat digunakan untuk menyelesaikan masalah optimasi kompleks yang sulit dilakukan oleh metode konvensional. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menemukan penyelesaian perkiraan untuk optimisasi dan masalah pencarian penjadwalan mengajar pada SMK Satria Serengseng Jakarta Barat.
