Abstract

Problems that are prone to highrise building construction are natural disasters one of them is the earthquake. Earthquakes themselves were able to inflict the collapse of buildings that were unable to withstand lateral loads. Therefore, the designed building structure must have one of three load retaining structures systems. One is the dual systems structure. Structures on buildings with dual systems structure have behaviors that, when higher as the building, the larger the deformation, which results in reduced shear wall ability to withstand lateral loads, but instead give effect The addition of shear styles at the top of the building, this leads to the effective height of the shear wall where the height is a shear wall boundary point that is still effective in receiving shear forces. Therefore, the study aims to figure out the high effective and behavioral effects of negative shear wall of buildings with 21 floors of vertical irregularities. In this final task the structure of the building amounted to 21 floors using the method of response spectrum as the load of the earthquake and 4 floor reduction with minimum floor 7 levels as well as for the calculation of building planning used dual system structural . With the final result obtained is a high effective shear wall is on the 9th floor and shear wall above the 9th floor can be the burden and absorption of the shear wall decreases as the decrease in the height of the building. Keywords: shear wall, dual system, effective height, shear wall negative effect Masalah yang rawan pada konstruksi bangunan tingkat tinggi adalah bencana alam salah satunya adalah gempa. Gempa bumi sendiri mampu menimbulkan runtuhnya bangunan-bangunan yang tidak mampu menahan beban lateral. Oleh karena itu, struktur bangunan didesain harus memiliki satu dari tiga sistem struktur penahan beban. Salah satunya adalah Struktur ganda. Struktur pada gedung dengan sistem struktur ganda memiliki perilaku yang apabila semakin tinggi gedung, deformasi yang terjadi akan semakin besar yang mengakibatkan berkurangnya kemampuan dinding geser menahan beban lateral, namun justru memberi efek pertambahan gaya geser pada bagian atas gedung, hal ini mengarah kepada tinggi efektif dinding geser dimana tinggi tersebut merupakan titik batas dinding geser yang masih efektif dalam menerima gaya geser. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tinggi efektif dan perilaku dari efek negatif dinding geser struktur bangunan 21 lantai dengan ketidakberaturan vertikal. Dalam tugas akhir ini struktur bangunan berjumlah 21 lantai dengan menggunakan metode repons spectrum sebagai beban gempanya dan pengurangan 4 jumlah lantai dengan lantai minimal 7 tingkat serta untuk perhitungan perencanaan gedung digunakan sistem struktur ganda. Dengan hasil akhir yang didapat adalah tinggi efektif dinding geser berada di lantai 9 dan dinding geser di atas lantai 9 dapat menjadi beban serta daya serap dinding geser mengalami penurunan seiring berkurangnya tinggi bangunan.
