Abstract

SCREEN PRINTING DESK FOR SMEs Enan Sunarya 41914310001 ABSTRACT Screen printing desk is one of the main tools in manual screen printing business. The existence of this tool must be supported also with some other equipment for the screen printing business can be run, because the functions possessed by existing equipment is only fixated on one function only. The existing screen printing desk generally have a long and wide shape, requiring a large space. In addition, the need for other equipment is also very necessary such as afdruk desk / exposure film that has a large enough size as well. So to run a printing business someone must have a large place and a relatively large capital to buy the equipment needed. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) is a group of modern industry, traditional, handicrafts that have assets and capital below Rp. 70 million with employment risk below Rp. 625.000 and business owned by citizens of Indonesia. Based on the above information shows that the capital owned by SME business actors is limited, while the need for equipment and places that must be provided to run a screen printing business is relatively large. Based on this case the authors designed a table that has been integrated with several functions namely place afdruk film, storage equipment and screen printing materials, t-shirts and screen printing, screen dryers and screen printing, this table is designed with a relatively small size with the shape which is simple so it can be stored in a limited place. Key words: Desk, Screen Printing Desk, SMEs, Screen Printing Equipment MEJA SABLON MULTIFUNGSI UNTUK UKM Enan Sunarya 41914310001 ABSTRAK Meja sablon merupakan salah satu peralatan utama dalam usaha sablon manual. Keberadaan alat ini harus ditunjang pula dengan beberapa peralatan lain agar usaha sablon dapat dijalankan, karena fungsi yang dimiliki oleh peralatan yang sudah ada hanya terpaku pada satu fungsi saja. Meja sablon yang sudah ada pada umumnya memiliki bentuk yang panjang dan lebar, sehingga membutuhkan tempat yang luas. Selain itu, kebutuhan akan peralatan lain juga sangat diperlukan seperti meja afdruk/ekspose film yang memiliki ukuran yang cukup besar juga. Sehingga untuk menjalankan usaha sablon seseorang harus memiliki tempat yang luas serta modal yang relatif besar untuk membeli peralatan yang dibutuhkan. Usaha kecil menengah (UKM) merupakan kelompok industry modern, tradisional, kerajinan yang memiliki asset dan modal dibawah Rp. 70 juta dengan resiko usaha tenaga kerja dibawah Rp. 625.000 dan usaha dimiliki oleh warga Negara Indonesia. Berdasarkan informasi diatas terlihat bahwa modal yang dimiliki oleh pelaku usaha UKM terbatas, sedangkan kebutuhan akan peralatan dan tempat yang harus disediakan untuk menjalankan usaha sablon bernilai relatif besar. Berdasarkan hal inilah penulis merancang sebuah meja yang sudah terintegrasi dengan beberapa fungsi yaitu tempat afdruk film, tempat penyimpanan peralatan dan bahan sablon, tempat penyimpanan kaos dan gambar sablon, tempat pengering screen dan tempat cetak sablon, meja ini didesain dengan ukuran yang relatif kecil dengan bentuk yang simple sehingga dapat disimpan ditempat yang terbatas.
