Abstract

ABSTRAK Karet merupakan hasil dari getah pada tanaman karet itu sendiri, atau yang lebih di kenal dengan sebutan lateks, untuk mendapatkan lateks tersebut perlu dilakukan pengikisan atau pengirisan kulit pohon karet, proses ini biasa disebut dengan penyadapan. Demi berupaya untuk mempercepat dan meningkatkan proses penyadapan perlu adanya alat sadap dengan motor dc sebagai pengerak utama, alat ini yaitu Alat Sadap Elektrik Pohon Karet. Dengan metode VDI 2221 dipilih desain yang lebih mudah dalam pembuatan dan juga mudah digenggam sehingga dapat memudahkan dalam proses penyadapan. komponen utamanya yaitu, motor DC 12v sebagai penggerak mata pisau yang terbuat dari stainless steel dengan tebal 1.25 mm dengan daya yang berasal dari baterai 12v serta dilengkapi PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) atau komponen pengatur kecepatan motor. Alat ini mampu menyadap pohon karet dalam waktu 10 detik dengan kedalaman sadap 6mm dan panjang lintasan 30 mm. Kata kunci: lateks, alat sadap karet, motor DC. ABSTRACT Rubber is the result of sap on the rubber plant itself, or more commonly known as latex, to get the latex is necessary to erode or slicing the bark of rubber trees, this process is usually called by tapping. For the sake of trying to speed up and improve the tapping process there needs to be a tapping device with dc motor as the main activator, this tool is Electrical Rubber Sadap Tool. With the VDI 2221 method chosen design is easier in the manufacture and also easy to grasp so it can ease in the process of tapping. the main component is, 12V DC motor as a blades drive blades made of stainless steel with 1.25 mm thick with power coming from the 12v battery and equipped with PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) or motor speed control components. This tool is able to tap rubber trees within 10 seconds with a tapping depth of 6mm and 30 mm track length. Keywords: latex, rubber equipment tools, DC motor
