Abstract

ABSTRAK Tingginya laju permintaan terhadap daya listrik tidak diimbangi dengan peningkatan penyediaan daya listik yang murah, memadai, ramah lingkungan, serta semakin menipisnya sumber daya fosil memicu kenaikan harga energi listrik dan krisis energi listrik di Indonesia. Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Mikro Hidro (PLTMH) merupakan alternatif sumber energi listrik bagi masyarakat yang memberikan banyak keuntungan, disaat sumber energi lain mulai menipis dan memberikan dampak negatif, maka air menjadi sumber energi pembangkit listrik yang murah dan tidak menimbulkan polusi. Metode analisa daya listrik yang dihasilkan Pembangkit Listrik Mandiri dengan Sistem Mikrohidro dilakukan dengan mengumpulkan data-data dari berbagai jurnal penelitian tentang mikrohidro sebelumnya, serta perbandingan berbagai jenis desain turbin, diameter pipa, dan jenis aliran sehingga menghasilkan daya listrik sesuai kebutuhan. Hasil dari analisa daya listrik yang dihasilkan Pembangkit Listrik Mandiri dengan Sistem Mikrohidro dapat memenuhi kebutuhan listrik harian pada suatu rumah. Kata kunci: Mikro Hidro, Daya Listrik ABSTRACT The high demand for electricity is not matched by an increase in electricity supply that is cheap, adequate, environmentally friendly, and depleted fossil resources that have triggered an increase in electricity prices and the electricity crisis in Indonesia. Micro Hydro Power Plant (MHP) is an alternative power source for the community that provides many benefits, while other energy sources are running low and have a negative impact, water is a cheap and non-polluting energy source. The method of analyzing the electrical power produced by Pembangkit Listrik Mandiri with the Microhydro System is done by collecting data from various research journals on microhydro beforehand, and comparing various types of turbine designs, pipe diameters and flow types so as to produce electrical power as needed. The results of the analysis of the electrical power produced by Pembangkit Listrik Mandiri with the Microhydro System can meet the daily electricity needs of the house.
