Abstract
To ensure the quality and reliability of electrical power from disruption of electric currents to the ground (Ground Fault) to airport services in the operational area of PT Angkasa Pura II Persero, requires installation of ground fault protection to ensure smooth service to service users, therefore the Vigi Module is used as a ground electric current protection. In analyzing the sensitivity of the vigi module as a safety medium from electric currents to the ground (ground fault), the method of calculating the value of the vigi module setting against the load, calculating the size of the cable to the load supplied, measuring cable resistance, and trial and error in the field. The results of this study are the value of the vigi module protection setting is 0.25A and the one installed in the field is 0.3A, for cable resistance is still in a usable condition and according to standards above 380,000 ohms and the size of the type of cable for each load that meets the electrical standard, which is strong. Current conductivity (KHA) is 1.25 In, with the problem that there is no coordination / interconnection related to the grounding system from the low voltage side to the medium voltage side which causes the vigi module to not work as a safety ground fault on the low voltage side. Key words : vigi module, resistance cable, current conductivity, ground fault Untuk menjamin kualitas dan keandalan power listrik dari gangguan arus listrik ke tanah (Ground Fault) terhadap pelayanan jasa kebandar udaraan di wilayah operasi PT Angkasa Pura II persero dibutuhkan pemasangan proteksi ground fault guna menjamin kelancaran pelayanan jasa terhadap pengguna jasa maka dari itu digunakan Vigi Module sebagai proteksi arus listrik ketanah . Dalam menganalisa kegagalan vigi module sebagai media pengaman dari arus listrik ke tanah (ground fault), dilakukan dengan metode perhitungan nilai setting vigi module terhadap beban, perhitungan ukuran kabel terhadap beban yang suplay, pengukuran tahanan kabel, serta trial and error dilapangan. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah nilai setting proteksi vigi module adalah 0,25A dan yang terpasang dilapangan disetting 0,3A, untuk tahanan kabel masih dalam kondisi layak guna dan sesuai standar diatas 380.000 ohm serta ukuran jenis kabel untuk tiap beban yang memenuhi standart kelistrikan yakni kuat hantar arus (KHA) senilai 1,25 In, dengan permasalahan yang terjadi bahwa belum adanya koordinasi / interkoneksi terkait grounding sistem dari sisi tegangan rendah terhadap sisi tegangan menegah yang menyebabkan tidak bekerjanya vigi module sebagai pengaman ground fault pada sisi tegangan rendah.
