Abstract

Up to now, electricity has always been the main type of energy for urban rail system because it is the only energy which has all the qualities required to operate such systems. The characteristics of the LRT operation are frequent stop, short headway and short travel times. In previous research, saputra (2019) in “Evaluation Study of Calculating Power Capacity of Traction Substation Against the Need for KRL Depok- Manggarai Line" the research only focuses on calculating the capacity of traction susbtasions against the needs of electric rail train (KRL), in this research discusses the calculation of the voltage drop and losses on the side of the 20 kV source from PLN at the Jabodebek LRT. The data were taken at each TPSS (Traction Power Substation) when the load was full, then the voltage drop and losses were calculated manually and simulations using ETAP. The average voltage drop for normal conditions and when there is a failure at the PLN substation is 0.30% with a nominal operating voltage of 20 kV. The largest voltage drop occurs at TPSS Ciracas 2 when the PLN TPSS Harjamukti OFF substation reaches 94.914 Volts or 0.474% and the total losses for normal conditions and when there is a failure at the PLN substation reach 1% of the available TPSS power capacity. It can be assumed that the 20 kV power supply system at the Jabodebek LRT complies with the SPLN regulations, because the voltage drop is <5% and the power loss is <10%. Keywords : Traction Power Substasion, Voltage Drop, Power Losses, ETAP Saat ini listrik menjadi pilihan energi utama untuk kebutuhan sistem transportasi kereta didalam kota karena merupakan satu-satunya energi yang memiliki semua kualitas yang diperlukan untuk mengoperasikan sistem tersebut. Karakteristik pengoperasian LRT adalah sering berhenti, Headway yang kecil dan dengan waktu perjalanan yang singkat. Pada penelitian sebelumnya, Saputra (2019) dengan judul “Studi Evaluasi Analisa Perhitungan Kapasitas Daya Gardu Traksi Terhadap Kebutuhan KRL Jalur Depok-Manggarai”, penelitian tersebut hanya berfokus pada perhitungan kapasitas gardu traksi terhadap kebutuan Kereta Rel Listrik (KRL), pada penelitian kali ini membahas perhitungan jatuh tegangan dan rugi-rugi disisi sumber 20 kV dari PLN di LRT Jabodebek. Dengan memasukkan Data-data diambil pada setiap TPSS (Traction Power Substasion) saat kondisi beban penuh, lalu dilakukan perhitungan voltage drop dan losses secara manual dan simulasi menggunakan ETAP diterapkan pada TPSS di LRT Jabodebek. Rata-rata Voltage Drop untuk kondisi normal maupun saat terjadi gangguan pada gardu PLN adalah 0,30% dengan tegangan nominal operasi 20 kV. Voltage drop yang terbesar terjadi pada TPSS Ciracas 2 saat kondisi gardu PLN TPSS Harjamukti OFF yaitu mencapai 94,914 Volt atau 0,474 % Dan losses total untuk kondisi normal maupun saat terjadi gangguan pada gardu PLN mencapai angka dibawah 1% dari kapasitas daya TPSS yang tersedia. Sehingga dapat diasumsikan bahwa sistem power supply 20 kV di LRT Jabodebek sesuai dengan peraturan SPLN, karena jatuh tegangan <5% dan rugi daya <10%.
