Abstract

Orchid plants are ornamental plants that have high aesthetic value. The shape and color of flowers and other unique characteristics are the main attraction of these ornamental plant species. Plants that require intensive care, especially watering that must be maintained. Watering is currently still using a manual system, so we need an automatic watering system to help plant care. The watering system is made by utilizing the concept of the internet of things. Watering is carried out according to a schedule set by the user via the telegram application. Users can find out the conditions around the plant such as air temperature, humidity, soil humidity, and the level of water in wells and water containers via the telegram application. Watering duration is generated from the calculation of the Sugeno method fuzzy logic using the input variables of air temperature and soil moisture. Watering is not carried out when the system detects rain. From the research, it was found that the temperature and humidity sensor readings had a reading error of 0.8% and 1.8%. If it rains, the system does not do the watering. The use of the Sugeno method's fuzzy logic in determining the length of watering time can make orchids can be maintained in terms of their watering needs. Keywords : Orchid, IoT, fuzzy sugeno, watering Tanaman anggrek merupakan tanaman hias yang mempunyai nilai estetika tinggi. Bentuk dan warna bunga serta karakteristik lainnya yang unik menjadi daya tarik tersendiri dari spesies tanaman hias tersebut. Tanaman yang memerlukan perawatan yang intensif, terutama penyiraman yang harus dijaga. Penyiraman saat ini masih menggunakan sistem manual sehingga diperlukan suatu sistem penyiraman otomatis untuk membantu perawatan tanaman. Sistem penyiraman dibuat dengan memanfaatkan konsep internet of things. Penyiraman dilakukan sesuai dengan jadwal yang diatur oleh pengguna lewat aplikasi telegram. Pengguna dapat mengetahui keadaan di sekitar tanaman seperti suhu udara, kelembaban udara, kelembaban tanah, serta ketinggian level air dalam sumur dan wadah air lewat aplikasi telegram. Durasi penyiraman dihasilkan dari perhitungan logika fuzzy metode sugeno dengan menggunakan variabel input suhu udara dan kelembaban tanah. Penyiraman tidak dilakukan apabila sistem mendeteksi adanya hujan. Berdasarkan hasil analisa dan pengujian yang telah dilakukan, didapat hasil pembacaan sensor suhu dan kelembaban udara memliki error pembacaan 0,8 % dan 1,8 %. Apabila terjadi hujan, maka sistem tidak melakukan penyiraman. Penggunaan logika fuzzy metode sugeno dalam penentuan lama waktu penyiraman dapat membuat tanaman anggrek dapat dijaga dalam hal kebutuhan penyiramannya.
