Abstract

In this study, the authors designed and installed the Indoor Building Coverage (IBC) network in Ponorogo City Center, East Java, especially the Ground Floor using 4G LTE technology because of the public's need for internet services. The purpose of this research is to get the Indoor Building Coverage network design, and to see the network design using iBwave software and to see the performance of the designed network. The method used to see the feasibility of the designed IBC LTE network is Reference Signal Received Power (RSRP) and Signal to Interference Noise Ratio (SINR) parameters. In IBC planning, to see the conditions in the indoor area, it can be obtained by conducting a walktest using TEMS Investigation software. Then to get the required number of sites in the indoor area is done by first considering the coverage planning. This calculation uses the COST-231 Multiwall propagation model. The number of sites that have been obtained from the results of planning calculations is simulated using the iBwave software. The results of the network feasibility calculation in the form of a link budget obtained 19 antennas. The simulation results using iBwave obtained 17 antennas with RSRP values ranging from -10 dBm to -80 dBm of 99.5% of the KPI set by XL operators at 95% of one floor coverage. Then the SINR value ranging from 3 dB to 30 dB is obtained as much as 98.9% of the KPI set by the XL operator at 95% of one floor coverage. Keywords: RSRP, SINR, IBC, link budget, iBwave, LTE. Pada penelitian ini penulis membuat desain dan pemasangan jaringan Indoor Building Coverage (IBC) di Ponorogo City Center, Jawa Timur khususnya lantai Ground Floor menggunakan teknologi 4G LTE dikarenakan meningkatnya kebutuhan masyarakat akan layanan internet. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan desain jaringan Indoor Building Coverage, dan mengetahui desain jaringan menggunakan software iBwave serta mengetahui performansi jaringan yang di desain. Metode yang digunakan untuk mengetahui kelayakan jaringan IBC LTE yang didesain adalah dengan parameter Reference Signal Received Power (RSRP) dan Signal to Interference Noise Ratio (SINR). Pada perencanaan IBC, untuk mengetahui kondisi existing di area indoor tersebut dapat diperoleh dengan melakukan walktest menggunakan software TEMS Investigation. Kemudian untuk mendapatkan jumlah site yang dibutuhkan pada area indoor tersebut dilakukan dengan cara melakukan perhitungan terlebih dahulu menggunakan perencanaan cakupan (coverage planning). Perhitungan ini menggunakan model propagasi COST-231 Multiwall. Jumlah site yang telah diperoleh dari hasil perhitungan perencanaan disimulasikan menggunakan software iBwave. Hasil perhitungan kelayakan jaringan berupa link budget diperoleh jumlah antenna sebanyak 19 antena. Hasil simulasi menggunakan iBwave diperoleh jumlah antenna sebanyak 17 dengan nilai RSRP rentang -10 dBm sampai -80 dBm sebesar 99.5% dari KPI yang ditetapkan operator XL sebesar 95% dari satu coverage lantai. Kemudian juga diperoleh nilai SINR rentang 3 dB sampai 30 dB sebesar 98.9% dari KPI yang ditetapkan operator XL sebesar 95% dari satu coverage lantai.
