Abstract

Dalam upaya memenuhi tuntutan pemenuhan kebutuhan masyarakat dan meningkatkan kinerja perusahaan, pelaksanaan berbagai strategi dan pengelolaan perusahaan yang baik diyakini merupakan langkah yang sangat penting dilaksanakan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji pengaruh intellectual capital dan karakteristik perusahaan terhadap kinerja perusahaan di Indonesia. Sampel yang digunakan adalah perusahaan yang bergerak di industri manufaktur sub sektor barang konsumsi yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia dengan periode pengamatan tahun 2014-2018. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh negatif leverage, serta pengaruh positif intellectual capital dan ukuran perusahaan terhadap kinerja perusahaan. Kata kunci: Intellectual Capital, Leverage, Ukuran Perusahaan, Kinerja Perusahaan As an effort to fulfill the demands of the community needs and improving corporate performance, the implementation of various strategies and good corporate management are believed to be a very important steps. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of intellectual capital and company characteristics to the firm performance in Indonesia. The sample used are consumer goods sub-sector of manufacturing companies listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2014 to 2018 period. The results prove that there are negative influences of leverage, and the positive influences of intellectual capital and firm size to the firm performance.
