Abstract

It cannot be denied that technology is a necessity for everyday life. One of its developments is computer network technology that is able to connect and communicate with one another. Almost every company uses a network to streamline the flow of communication and information. Given the rapid economic pace of today, many companies have established branches in various regions, in addition to economic development, technology has also increased, especially in the telecommunications sector. Various kinds of protocols and methods have been created and updated. MPLS-L3 VPN is a telecommunication method that is suitable for solutions in communication between branches and the center in a secure, flexible, fast and scalable manner. With the support of packet delivery speed from MPLS technology, safe and flexible IP address addressing from VRF (Virtual Routing and Forwarding) technology, it makes MPLS-L3 VPN the method that is the best choice. This final project will discuss various types of OSPF routing, static routing, BGP, MP-BGP and other protocol methods such as MPLS and VRF. Simulations are carried out using GNS3 software and analysis results are performed using WireShark software. The author will simulate 2 customers between SJ and GA companies where the two companies can communicate to their branches in the same IP network without overlaps or collisions of data in each company. Keywords : MPLS L3 VPN, OSPF, BGP, MP-BGP, VRF, Gns3 Tak bisa di pungkiri bahwa teknologi merupakan kebutuhan untuk sehari-hari. Salah satu perkembangan nya ialah teknologi jaringan komputer yang mampu terhubung dan berkomunikasi satu sama lainnya. Hampir di setiap perusahaan menggunakan jaringan guna untuk memperlancar arus komunikasi dan informasi. Mengingat pesatnya ekonomi saat ini banyak perusahaan yang mendirikan cabang cabang nya di berbagai daerah, di samping perkembangan ekonomi, meningkat pula teknologi khususnya di bidang telekomunikasi, Berbagai macam protocol protokol maupun metode yang telah diciptakan dan di perbaharui. MPLS-L3 VPN merupakan salah satu metode telekomunikasi yang sesuai untuk solusi dalam komunikasi antara cabang dengan pusat secara aman,fleksibel,cepat dan scalable. Dengan didukung kecepatan pengiriman paket dari teknologi MPLS, aman dan fleksibel dalam pengalamatan ip address dari teknologi VRF (Virtual Routing and Forwarding), maka menjadikan MPLS-L3 VPN menjadi metode yang merupakan pilihan terbaik. Pada Tugas Akhir ini akan dibahas berbagai macam jenis routing OSPF, static routing, BGP, MP-BGP dan metode protocol lainnya seperti MPLS dan VRF. Simulasi dilakukan dengan menggunakan software GNS3 dan hasil analisa dilakukan menggunakan software WireShark. Penulis akan mensimulasikan 2 customer antara perusahaan SJ dan GA dimana kedua perusahaan tersebut dapat berkomunikasi ke cabangnya di dalam satu jaringan IP yang sama tanpa terjadi nya overlaps atau tabrakan data di masing-masing perusahaan.
