Abstract

Long Term Evolution (LTE) is a technology that supports high speed data services. Capability and superiority of LTE technology besides its speed which can reach 100 Mbps for downlink and 50 Mbps for uplink. In this final project, we will discuss the implementation of the inner-loop method for handling long term evolution interference. Interference that occurs is caused by the excess number of users in one sector, with the high value of uplink interference. The excess number of users is user> 120 and RTWP / UL Interference> - 150 dBm. This handling is done to reduce the number of users by reducing the emitted power so that it affects network performance. After handling, the value of RTWP / UL inrterference decreased to 1.94% better than the previous value, user traffic also decreased by 28.24%. This also affects the PRB utilization because it will save on the use of PRB by 4.5%. And the SINR value increased very significantly, namely 180% from the previous results. Using the inner loop power control method in interference problems can be resolved. This is indicated by the better SINR distribution results (close to the target SINR value) compared to before the inner loop power control method was applied. Keywords: long term evolution, RTWP/UL Interference, traffic user, SINR, PRB Utilization Long Term Evolution (LTE) merupakan teknologi yang mendukung layanan data dengan kecepatan tinggi. Kemampuan dan keunggulan teknologi LTE selain kecepatannya yang bisa mencapai 100 Mbps untuk downlink dan 50 Mbps untuk uplink. Pada tugas akhir ini akan membahas mengenai implementasi metode innerloop guna penanganan interferensi long term evolution. Interferensi yang terjadi disebabkan oleh kelebihan jumlah penggunna dalam satu sektor, dengan tingginya nilai uplink interference. Kelebihan jumlah pengguna yaitu pengguna > 120 dan RTWP/UL Interference > - 150 dBm. Penanganan ini dilakukan untuk mengurangi jumlah pengguna dengan mengurangi daya yang dipancarkan sehingga berpengaruh terhadap kinerja jaringan. Setelah dilakukan penanganan, nilai RTWP/UL inrterference menurun hingga 1,94% lebih baik dari nilai sebelumnya, traffic user pun menurun 28,24%. Hal ini juga berpengaruh terhadap PRB utilization karena akan lebih menghemat penggunaan PRB sebesar 4,5 %. Serta nilai SINR meningkat sangat significant yaitu 180 % dari hasil sebelumnya. Dengan menggunakan metode inner loop power control dalam permasalahan interferensi dapat teratasi. Hal ini ditandai dengan hasil distribusi SINR yang lebih baik (mendekati nilai SINR target) dibandingkan dengan sebelum diterapkannya metode inner loop power control.
