Abstract

Busway which aims as mass transportation which is expected to overcome the congestion in Jakarta. And the busway lane is also built which aims to separate the lane for public vehicles with special busway lanes and make a portal before entering the busway lane so that no other vehicles will enter the busway lane. But the installation of this portal has the disadvantage of having to have an officer who must be ready to open it properly so that the busway can pass through and close it quickly. With the development in the field of technology, namely RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) which can be used to detect busways that want to pass through the portal, which then the portal will open and close automatically without the need for more officers. Therefore this busway doorstop automation system was created so that it can work automatically with RFID technology. From the tests that have been carried out on the design of the automatic internet of things busway doorstop system based on testing the Servo 1 motorbike with the MIT App Inventor 2 application, the average time of 2.26 seconds is obtained while the RFID reading results in an average time of 1.4 seconds. . In testing the Servo 2 motorbike with the MIT App Inventor 2 application, the average time of 2.33 seconds was obtained while the RFID reading obtained an average time of 1.15 seconds. Keyword : MIT App Inventor 2, Arduino Mega, ESP8266, Firebase, Motor Servo, RFID Busway yang bertujuan sebagai transportasi massal yang diharapkan dapat menanggulangi kemacetan yang ada di Jakarta. Dan di bangun pula jalur busway yang bertujuan untuk memisahkan antara jalur utuk kendaraan umum dengan jalur khusus busway serta di buat portal sebelum memasuki jalur busway supaya tidak ada kendaraan lain yang ikut masuk ke jalur busway. Namun pemasangan portal ini memiliki kelemahan yaitu harus adanya petugas yang harus siap membukanya dengan tepat supaya busway dapat melaluinya dan menutupnya dengan cepat. Dengan adanya perkembangan di bidang teknologi yakni RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) yang dapat dimanfaatkan untuk mendeteksi busway yang hendak melewati portal, yang kemudian portal akan membuka dan menutup secara otomatis tanpa harus adanya lagi petugas. Oleh karena itu dibuatlah sistem automasi palang pintu busway ini supaya dapat berkerja otomatis dengan teknologi RFID. Dari pengujian yang telah dilakukan pada rancang bangun sistem palang pintu busway otomatis berbasis internet of things ini adalah pada pengujian motor Servo 1 dengan aplikasi MIT App Inventor 2 didapat hasil rata-rata waktu 2.26 detik sedangkan dengan pembacaan RFID didapat hasil rata-rata waktu 1.4 detik. Pada pengujian motor Servo 2 dengan aplikasi MIT App Inventor 2 didapat hasil rata-rata waktu 2.33 detik sedangkan dengan pembacaan RFID didapat hasil rata-rata waktu 1.15 detik.
