Abstract
Distributing workpieces using a linear drive unit is a device that is able to move the workpiece with a DC motor gripper from a certain place to another place, and is accompanied by an infuctive sensor as a detector of the characteristics of metal and nonmetal objects. This tool is controlled using FC400 FESTO PLC which has an address (pin) of 16 inputs and 8 outputs. The input address used is an inductive sensor, limit switch, push botton, stop button, while the installed output is a DC motor gearbox, single solenoid, and DC motort gripper. And there are also actuators such as double acting cylinders. From the experiment and testing of this tool to the work cycle, that when the start button is pressed, the double acting cylinder moves optimally with the help of wind from a single solenoid. Then, the workpiece is read according to the material of the metal and non-metal characteristics. then the gripper is active and pinched to bring the workpiece to the specified slide. Then, the gripper returns to its starting position, ready for the next workpiece and also moves the linear slider back to the starting position to move to the left to prepare for the operation again. Keywords : PLC, inductive sensor, DC gearbox motor. http:// Alat pendistribusi benda kerja menggunakan drive linier unit adalah sebuah alat yang mampu memidahkan benda kerja dengan gripper motor DC dari tempat tertentu ke tempat yang lain, serta di sertai dengan sensor infuktif sebagai pendeteksi dari karakteristik benda logam dan non logam. Alat ini dikendalikan menggunakan PLC FESTO FC400 yang memiliki alamat (pin) 16 input dan 8 output. Alamat Input yang digunakan adalah sensor induktif, limit switch, push botton, stop button, Sedangkan pada output terpasang motor DC gearbox, single solenoid, dan gripper motort DC. Dan terdapat juga aktuator seperti double acting cylinder. Dari percobaan dan pengujian alat ini terhadap siklus kerja, bahwa ketika tombol start di tekan, maka double acting cylinder bergerak secara maksimal dengan bantuan angin dari single solenoid. Lalu, benda kerja dibaca sesuai bahan dari karakteristik logam dan non logam nya. lalu gripper aktif dan menjepit untuk membawa benda kerja ke slide yang yg sudah ditentukan. Lalu, gripper kembali ke posisi awal, siap untuk benda kerja berikutnya dan juga menggerakkan linier slider kembali ke posisi awal bergerak ke sebelah kiri untuk bersiap operasi kembali.
