Abstract

As one of the modern sanitation equipment, urinal have a lot of metamorphosis, from just an equipment for secretion (urination), to being a sanitation equipment with advanced features. This provides a new experience for it user. Some features that often to found such as automatic flushing and digital advertising. Research of this final project also wants to try to make an innovation for the urinal, which is embedded with the pH meter module that can measure pH of urine. Urine pH measurement is useful as one method for checking health conditions. Besides able to measure urine pH, design of this equipment also has other features such as the operation using a touch screen and data logger storage feature for storing data measurement. This equipment using Arduino as system controller. This equipment is very suitable to be installed in the house both as a modern sanitation equipment and family health care support equipment. In addition, this equipment is also suitable to be installed in hospitals, office areas, and education areas such as schools or campuses. On the test of sampling urine with different times and it is compared with measurements using digital pH meter, the difference is 0.621% or the overall test obtained the largest difference <1%. Then from all the test of data logger storage was successful for storing data measurement. For flushing, water is needed to supplies about 500 ml - 1000 ml and this is quite efficient. Keywords: urin, urinoir, pH, data logger, mikro kontroler Arduino, Digital pH Meter, flushing Sebagai salah satu alat sanitasi modern, urinoir telah banyak bermetamorfosis, mulai dari sekedar tempat sekresi (buang air kecil) biasa, hingga menjadi alat sanitasi dengan berbagi fitur canggih. Hal ini memberikan pengalaman baru bagi para penggunanya. Fitur teknologi urinoir yang sering dijumpai saat ini antara lain sistem pembilasan (flushing) otomatis dan penyematan layar iklan digital. Penelitian tugas akhir ini ingin juga mencoba membuat suatu inovasi pada urinoir, yaitu penyematan modul pH meter yang berfungsi untuk mengukur pH air seni (urin). Pengukuran pH berguna sebagai salah satu metode untuk pengecekan kondisi kesehatan. Selain dapat mengukur pH urin, rancangan alat ini juga memiliki fitur lain seperti pengoperasian mengunakan layar sentuh dan fitur penyimpanan data logger untuk data hasil pengukuran. Sistem control alat ini menggunakan mikro kontroler Arduino. Alat ini sangat cocok dipasang di rumah baik sebagai alat sanitasi modern maupun alat penunjang pemeliharaan kesehatan keluarga. Selain itu, alat ini juga cocok terpasang pada rumah sakit, area perkantoran, maupun area pendidikan seperti sekolah atau kampus. Pada pengujian yang telah dilakukan terhadap sampel urin dengan waktu yang berbeda dan dibandingkan dengan pengukuran menggunakan digital pH meter didapat selisih sebesar 0,621% atau secara keseluruhan pegujian didapat selisih terbesar <1%. Kemudian dari semua percobaan penyimpanan data logger dinyatakan berhasil untuk menyimpan data pengukuran. Untuk flushing sendiri dibutuhkan suplai air sebesar 500ml – 1000 ml dan hal tersebut cukup efisien. Kata kunci: urin, urinoir, pH, data logger, mikro kontroler Arduino, Digital pH Meter, flushing
