Abstract

Title : Optimization the Service Function of Pasar Lembang Ciledug Bus Terminal to Improve Performance. Name: Asep Nuralam, NIM: 41117110067, Supervisor: Dr. Ir. Indrayati TM., DEA. Pasar Lembang Ciledug Bus Terminal only has one entry access and one exit access, which is located right behind Pasar Lembang. Terminal conditions can be said to be less feasible because they are relatively very small and the services provided do not meet the needs of users, so the function of the terminal is not optimal. This study aims to determine the service level of the Pasar Lembang Ciledug bus terminal, find out the traffic conditions around the terminal and get a solution on how to optimize the terminal service function. The survey conducted to obtain these objectives is to calculate the number of buses that enter the terminal, calculate the number of bus queues in the terminal and the volume of survey traffic around the terminal then the data is entered according to the table or formula in accordance with MKJI 1997 and the Morlok formula 1991. Analysis results it is obtained that the Pasar Lembang bus terminal service is not optimal, this can be seen from the number of services more than the minimum requirements, that is the number of services 12 bus/hour with a minimum requirement of 25 - 50 bus/hour, the traffic conditions around the terminal are jammed, things this can be caused by buses entering and leaving the terminal, passengers going up and down in front of the terminal, and optimization the function of terminal services by expanding the terminal area which is currently still less than the minimum terminal standard. Keywords: Terminal Evaluation, Optimization, Traffic Terminal Bus Pasar Lembang Ciledug hanya memiliki satu akses masuk dan satu akses keluar, yang terletak tepat di belakang Pasar Lembang. Kondisi terminal bisa dikatakan kurang layak karena relatif sangat kecil dan pelayanan yang diberikan kurang memenuhi kebutuhan pengguna, sehingga fungsi dari terminal tersebut belum optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat pelayanan terminal bus pasar lembang Ciledug, mengetahui kondisi lalu lintas di sekitar terminal dan mendapatkan solusi bagaimana optimalisasi fungsi pelayanan terminal. Survey yang dilakukan untuk mendapatkan tujuan tersebut yaitu dengan menghitung jumlah bus yang masuk ke terminal, menghitung jumlah antrian bus di dalam terminal dan survey volume lalu lintas di sekitar terminal kemudian data dimasukan sesuai tabel atau rumus-rumus yang mengacu pada MKJI 1997 dan rumus Morlok 1991. Hasil analisis didapatkan pelayanan terminal bus Pasar Lembang belum optimal, hal ini dapat dilihat dari jumlah pelayanan lebih kecil dari syarat minimum yaitu jumlah pelayanan 12 bus/jam dengan syarat minimum yaitu 25 – 50 bus/jam, Kondisi lalu lintas di sekitar terminal macet, hal ini bisa disebabkan oleh bus yang keluar masuk terminal, menaikkan dan menurunkan penumpang di depan terminal, dan optimalisasi fungsi pelayanan terminal dengan cara memperluas area terminal yang saat ini masih kurang dari standar minimum terminal.
