Abstract

One of the routine maintenance to keep aircraft airworthy is landing gear inspection trough visual inspection or operational check. Operational check is implemented by retract and extend aircaft landing gear after aircaft jacking process. The jacking process is the activity of jacking the plane by several people who give instructions and operate the jack. Jacking activities need lot of attention due to prone of accidents if the jacking process is not carried out by correct procedure. In addition, the jacking process requires a large number of personnel to instruct jacking commands and operate of the jacking tools. So, a devices or system are needed that can help the jacking process take place more safely, quickly and efficiently in terms of time and number of personnel. Aircraft jacking alignment is a device that used to monitor the angle of aircraft orientation, give jacking commands and align it automatically (alignment function). Aircraft jacking alignment uses MPU6050 sensor to generate plane X (Pitch) and Y (roll) angular orientation data. Angular orientation data will be displayed through the OLED screen user interface and used as a reference to give jacking commands to go up or down until the plane is in equilibrium. Based on experiments that have been carried out, the MPU6050 sensor is able to produce an aircraft orientation angle with a deviation of + - 0.8 °. The ALIGNED (Parallel) condition is achieved in the range of -1 ° <pitch <1 ° and - 1 ° <roll <1 °. While the system response during responding to commands and executing jacking counts as 16.3 ms. Keywords: Aircraft Jacking Alignment, Sensor MPU6050, pitch & roll Salah satu kegiatan maintenance yang sering dilakukan demi mempertahankan airworthy (laik terbang) adalah inspeksi landing gear (roda pesawat) melalui proses visual inspection atau operational check. Operational check yang dilakukan dengan cara menaikkan dan menurunkan landing gear pesawat (selama beberapa siklus) setelah proses jacking dilakukan. Proses jacking adalah kegiatan melakukan dongkrak pesawat oleh beberapa orang yang memberikan instruksi dan mengoperasikan jack (dongkrak). Kegiatan jacking perlu perhatian lebih karena rawan akan kecelakaan jika proses jacking tidak dijalankan dengan prosedur yang benar. Selain itu, proses jacking memerlukan banyak personil untuk memberikan intruksi perintah jacking dan pengoperasian alat jacking. Sehingga diperlukan perangkat tambahan yang dapat membantu proses jacking berlangsung lebih aman, cepat dan efisien dalam segi waktu dan jumlah personil. Aircraft jacking alignment adalah alat kendali yang digunakan untuk memonitor sudut orientasi pesawat, memberikan perintah jacking dan menyeimbangkannya secara otomatis (alignment). Aircraft jacking alignment memanfaatkan sensor MPU6050 untuk menghasilkan data orientasi sudut X (pitch) dan Y (roll) pesawat. Data orientasi sudut akan ditampilkan melalui user interface layar OLED dan digunakan sebagai acuan dalam memberikan perintah jacking untuk naik atau turun sampai pesawat pada kondisi setimbang. Berdasarkan percobaan yang telah dilakukan sensor MPU6050 mampu menghasilkan sudut orientasi pesawat dengan simpangan ± 8°. Kondisi ALIGNED (Sejajar) tercapai pada rentang sudut -1° < pitch < 1° dan -1° < roll < 1°). Sedangkan respon sistem dalam menanggapai perintah dan melakukan eksekusi jacking terhitung 16.3 ms.
