Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengatahui dan menganalisis pengaruh leverage, profitabilitas, dan likuiditas terhadap kondisi financial distress pada perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia untuk periode 2016-2018. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua sektor perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia yang menerbitkan laporan keuangan pada tahun 2016-2018. Sampel yang diperoleh dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling adalah 88 perusahaan dan terdapat 264 data observasi yang terdiri dari 31 financial distress dan 233 non financial distress sampel. Kriteria kesulitan keuangan diukur dengan interest coverage ratio. Analisis statistik yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah regresi logistik. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa, variabel leverage tidak berpengaruh terhadap financial distress. Di sisi lain, penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa variabel profitabilitas, dan likuiditas berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan tehadap financial distress. Kata Kunci : Leverage, Profitabilitas, Likuiditas, Financial Distress, Interest Coverage Ratio This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of leverage, profitability, and liquidity on the condition of financial distress in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2016-2018. The population in this study are all manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange which published financial reports in 2016-2018. Samples obtained by using purposive sampling technique are 88 companies and there are 264 observational data consisting of 31 financial distresses and 233 non financial distress samples. The criteria for financial difficulties are measured by the interest coverage ratio. The statistical analysis used in this study is logistic regression. The results of this study indicate that, leverage does not affect financial distress. On the other hand, this study shows that the profitability and liquidity variables have a negative and significant effect on financial distress.
