Abstract

Growth in development and technological advancements encourage every owner and consultant to plan a building power supply system that has security, reliability, is easy to maintain and economical. The choice of conductor for power distribution is one of the determining factors in the distribution of electric power. The problem of electrical distribution systems using cables that often occurs is the problem of insulation materials where insulation failure often occurs so that the insulation material cannot perform its function properly. The failure of the insulation is caused by many things and one of them is because the heat that occurs in the cable causes the cable insulation to be damaged and burned so that it occurs due to a short circuit (short circuit). Cable insulation material from PVC and halogen so it is flammable. Whereas the busduct conductor has a compact busbar model where the packaged conductor does not have air gap so that it has a good heat absorption system and has a protective layer of epoxy conductor and the busduct has fire resistance, thus minimizing excess heat and the possibility of fire. The technical and economic analysis of the use of aluminum busducts and copper cables in the power supply system of this multi-story building is done by calculating costs based on the design of the planner and calculating the voltage drop from the conveyor. And Comparing in terms of economic and technical factors. Based on the data analysis, it was concluded that the use of aluminum busducts and copper cables in the power supply system of high-rise buildings is technically and economically, Aluminum busducts are safer, reliable and economical. This refers to the parameters that have been done in the voltage drop calculation and the cost calculation for the Aluminum busduct and copper cables. Keywords: Busduct, Cable, Economical, Voltage Drop Pertumbuhan pembangungan dan kemajuan teknologi mendorong setiap pemilik dan konsultan merencanakan sistem power supply Gedung yang memiliki kemanan, keandalan, mudah dalam perawatan dan ekonomis. Pemilihan penghantar untuk distribusi daya menjadi salah satu faktor penentu dalam disstribusi daya listrik. Permasalahan sistem distribusi kelistrikan menggunakan kabel yang sering terjadi yaitu permasalahan pada bahan isolasi dimana sering terjadi kegagalan isolasi sehingga bahan isolasi tidak dapat melakukan fungsinya dengan baik. Kegagalan dari isolasi tersebut disebabkan oleh banyak hal dan salah satunya adalah karena panas yang terjadi pada kabel menyebabkan isolasi kabel tersebut rusak dan terbakar sehingga terjadi karena adanya hubung pendek ( short circuit ). Bahan isolasi kabel dari pvc dan halogen sehingga mudah terbakar. Sedangkan penghantar busduct memiliki model compact busbar dimana penghantar dikemas tidak memiliki celah udara sehingga memiliki sistem penyerapan panas yang baik dan memiliki lapisan pelindung penghantar dari epoxy serta busduct telah memiliki ketahanan terhadap api, sehingga meminimalkan terjadinya panas berlebih dan kemungkinan terjadinya kebakaran. Analisa teknis dan ekononis penggunaan busduct Alumunium dan kabel tembaga pada sistem power supply Gedung bertingkat ini dilakukan dengan menghitung biaya berdasarkan desain dari perencana serta menghitung voltage drop dari penghantar tersebut. Dan Membandingkan dari sisi faktor ekonomis dan teknis. Berdasarkan analisa data yang dilakukan diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa pemakaian busduct Alumunium dan kabel tembaga dalam sistem power supply Gedung bertingkat secara teknis dan ekonomis, busduct Alumunium lebih aman, andal dan ekonomis. Hal ini mengacu pada parameter yang telah dilakukan pada perhitungan voltage drop dan perhitungan biaya pada busduct Alumunium dan kabel tembaga. Kata Kunci: Busduct, Kabel, Ekonomis, Voltage Drop
