Abstract

PT. Indah Kiat Pulp & Paper (IKPP), Tbk Tangerang merupakan salah satu anak perusahaan Sinar Mas Group yang memproduksi berbagai jenis kertas. Didalam menyediakan persediaan untuk membuat berbagai jenis kertas, diperlukan adanya pengendalian persediaan yang baik dan sesuai dengan permintaan produksi. Tetapi, pengendalian persediaan di perusahaan tersebut sering mengalami kendala salah satunya kelebihan stok. Material Requirement Planning (MRP) adalah suatu metode yang digunakan untuk mengendalikan persediaan bahan baku pada perusahaan. Suatu perusahaan untuk menerapkan kebijakan - kebijakan dalam perencanaan bahan baku harus memiliki perhitungan yang tepat agar tidak terjadi kelebihan dan kekurangan dalam persediaan persediaan bahan baku. Didalam penelitian ini, menggunakan metode peramalan Moving Average, Double Exponential Smoothing, dan Holt Winter Multiplicative. Metode Material Requirement Planning (MRP) yang digunakan adalah Lot For Lot (LFL), Economic Order Quantity (EOQ), Fixed Order Quantity (FOQ), dan Period Order Quantity (POQ). Hasil peramalan yang paling baik adalah Holt Winter Multiplicative dengan nilai error paling kecil dan hasil terbaik dari metode Material Requirement Planning (MRP) yang digunakan adalah Fixed Order Quantity (FOQ) dengan total biaya simpan Rp6.200.000 total biaya pesan Rp8.100 dan total biaya keseluruhan adalah RP. 6.208.100. Jadi, dengan menggunakan Metode Material Requirement Planning (MRP) dengan teknik Lot Sizing yang digunakan adalah Fixed Order Quantity (FOQ)), perusahaan Indah Kiat bisa meminimumkan total biaya persediaan. Kata Kunci: Persediaan, Material Requirement Planning (MRP), Metode Peramalan, Teknik Lot Sizing PT. Indah Kiat Pulp & Paper (IKPP), Tbk Tangerang is one of the subsidiaries of Sinar Mas Group which produces various types of paper. In providing supplies to make various types of paper, there is a need for good inventory control and in accordance with production demand. However, inventory control in these companies often has problems, one of which is excess stock. Material Requirement Planning (MRP) is a method used to control the inventory of raw materials in the company. A company to implement policies - policies in raw material planning must have the right calculation so that there are no excesses and shortcomings in the inventory of raw materials. In this study, using forecasting methods Moving Average, Double Exponential Smoothing, and Holt Winter Multiplicative. The Material Requirement Planning (MRP) method used is Lot For Lot (LFL), Economic Order Quantity (EOQ), Fixed Order Quantity (FOQ), and Period Order Quantity (POQ). The best forecasting result is Holt Winter Multiplicative with the smallest error value and the best result from the Material Requirement Planning (MRP) method used is Fixed Order Quantity (FOQ) with a total cost of saving Rp. 6,200,000 total message costs Rp. 8,100 and the total total cost is Rp. 6,208,100. So, using the Material Requirement Planning (MRP) method with Lot Sizing technique used is Fixed Order Quantity (FOQ)), Indah Kiat company can minimize the total inventory cost.
