Abstract
PT. Argo Pantes TBK, is a company engaged in the textile industry, in the period of June-December 2018 PT. Argo Pantes TBK manufactures a Cotton fabric as much as 2263 boxes with an average per box 4000yd cotton fabric. In that time span 2263 boxes in production there are various defect with the amount of defect that reaches 1193 boxes. The methods used in this research use the method DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control). Phase Define using SIPOC diagram and CTQ identification resulted in the determination of supplier to costumer and customer wishes of type defect folds. The Measure performs the measurement of DPMO values with an average of 47099 and a level value of sigma with an average of 3.19. Analyze stage analyzes the root cause of defect with Fishbone diagram that is easily damaged machine. Phase Improve analyzes the cause errors that occurred with the FMEA Scoring from the results of the largest RPN value and a 5W + 1H analysis of the cause of the machine that is easily damaged by providing repair proposals for machine replacement or machine maintenance. Phase Control provides proposals or recommendations for the company to be consistent with the company's quality commitments so that the same problems do not happen again in the later days. The results of this research are made as company recommendation not as implementation. Keywords: Quality, Six Sigma, DMAIC, Defect, FMEA. PT. Argo Pantes Tbk, adalah perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang industri tekstil, pada periode Juni – Desember 2018 PT. Argo Pantes Tbk memproduksi kain Cotton sebanyak 2263 box dengan rata-rata per box 4000yd kain cotton. Pada rentang waktu tersebut 2263 box yang di produksi terdapat berbagai defect dengan jumlah defect yang mencapai 1193 box. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control). Tahap Define menggunakan diagram SIPOC dan identifikasi CTQ menghasilkan penentuan supplier sampai costumer dan keinginan customer dari jenis defect Lipatan. Tahap Measure melakukan pengukuran nilai DPMO dengan rata-rata 47099 dan nilai level sigma dengan rata-rata sebesar 3.19. Tahap Analyze menganalisis akar penyebab defect dengan diagram fishbone yaitu Mesin yang mudah rusak. Tahap Improve menganalisis kesalahan penyebab yang terjadi dengan Scoring FMEA dari hasil nilai RPN terbesar dan analisis 5W + 1H dari penyebab Mesin yang mudah rusak dengan memberikan usulan perbaikan untuk penggantian mesin atau maintenance mesin. Tahap Control memberikan usulan atau rekomendasi agar perusahaan konsisten terhadap komitmen kualitas perusahaan sehingga permasalahan yang sama tidak terjadi lagi di kemudian hari. Hasil penelitian ini dijadikan sebagai rekomendasi perusahaan bukan sebagai implementasi. Kata kunci : Kualitas, Six Sigma, DMAIC, Defect, FMEA.
