Abstract
One of the objectives of the flight is to realize a safe, comfortable and economical flight. The time factor is a crucial factor in airlines, on the basis of which On Time Performance (OTP) is used by airlines as one of the main performance indicators. PT XYZ set a target of 90% on Time Performance as a timeliness performance standard in its flight operations in 2017. This study analyzed the causes of delay cabin maintenance during exron handling and XYZ aircraft transit at Soekarno-Hatta Airport, by formulating corrective steps for reduce or eliminate delay. The method used in this study is Root Cause Analysis. To find out the biggest cause of delay is the Pareto diagram. Based on the results of the Pareto diagram analysis, it is known that the seat cover problem is the main cause of delay and analysis is done with a fishbone diagram. From fish bone decomposition obtained several factors causing cabin delay maintenance handling, manpower factors, method factors, material factors and media factors. Salah satu tujuan diselenggarakannya penerbangan adalah mewujudkan penyelenggaraan penerbangan yang aman, nyaman, dan ekonomis. Faktor waktu menjadi faktor krusial dalam maskapai penerbangan, atas dasar hal itu On Time Performance (OTP) digunakan maskapai penerbangan sebagai salah satu indikator kinerja utama. PT XYZ menetapkan target On Time Performance sebesar 90% sebagai standar kinerja ketepatan waktu dalam operasional penerbangannya tahun 2017. Penelitian ini melakukan analisis penyebab terjadinya delay cabin maintenance saat proses handling exron dan transit pesawat XYZ di Bandar Udara Soekarno-Hatta, dengan merumuskan langkah perbaikan untuk mengurangi atau menghilangkan delay. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Root Cause Analysis. Untuk mengetahui penyebab terbesar terjadinya delay digunakan diagram pareto. Berdasarkan hasil analisis diagram pareto diketahui masalah seat cover menjadi penyebab delay utama dan dilakukan analisis dengan diagram fishbone. Dari penguraian fish bone diperoleh beberapa faktor penyebab delay cabin maintenance handling,: faktor manpower, faktor metode, faktor material dan faktor media.
