Abstract

Toilets are a place for excretion. This excretion activity there are 2 form of substance, which is in the form of liquid or urine and sweat, and solid substance in the form of feces. Human urine supplies at least 1% to the quantity of domestic wastewater with 80% nitrogen and 50% phosphate. The need for excretion makes the importance of toilets in every place, both at home and in public places. Needs that need to be balanced with the availability of toilets worth wearing, which attention to cleanliness, comfort and health for the user. The convenience of toilets, the smell of public toilets, can be identified by knowing the ammonia levels. Detection of ammonia levels in IOT-based toilets using MQ-135 Sensor to detect the presence of ammonia in the toilet to keep clean and health in the toilet, to find out how much ammonia levels in the toilet of this tool using LED lights to see how much ammonia levels which is in the toilet, and to reduce the amount of ammonia present in the toilet, it uses FAN to remove ammonia gas out of the toilet. Based on the test results, ethernet shield and laptop connections run well, where the results of 9 times the test ping reply and the average delay of sending small data that is 1 ms. When the MQ-135 sensor detects the ammonia LED indicator interrupts according to how much ammonia levels are already set and the FAN lights up according to the ammonia levels already specified, then for monitoring how much of the content in the toilet can be viewed on the web page . Keywords: Monitoring, Ammonia, MQ-135 Sensor, FAN, Relay, LED, Arduino Uno, Ethernet Shield W5100 Toilet merupakan tempat untuk melakukan ekskresi.
