Abstract
The industrial sector in the wall paint is growing rapidly. One of the producers is PT Propan Dekorindo Raya which is engaged in wall paint. Currently paint manufacturers in Indonesia are trying to produce a fast production process and still produce quality products. Quality improvement and development requires a commitment to improvement that involves several related factors. The Six Sigma method is very relevant to process control, because it focuses on improving the production process that leads to increased company profitability. This study controls the adjustment process in the wall paint production process using the Six Sigma (DMAIC) approach. With the Pareto analysis diagram it is known that the largest type of adjustment is power with a percentage of 59.5%. Furthermore, the calculation using the six sigma approach, the average value of DPMO before improvement was 108499.095, the yield (%) was 58.13% and the average sigma value obtained was 2.73. After improving the DPMO value increased to 68656,716, the yield (%) increased to 70.94% and the sigma value increased to 2.99. Keywords: Quality Control, Adjustment, Six Sigma, DMAIC Di Indonesia sektor industri pada bidang cat sudah berkembang sangat pesat. Salah satu produsennya adalah PT Propan Dekorindo Raya yang bergerak dalam bidang cat tembok. Saat ini produsen cat di Indonesia berusaha menghasilkan proses produksi yang cepat dan tetap menghasilkan produk yang berkualitas. Peningkatan dan pengendalian kualitas produksi memerlukan komitmen untuk perbaikan yang melibatkan beberapa faktor yang terkait. Metode Six Sigma sangat relevan dengan pengendalian proses, karena berfokus pada perbaikan proses produksi yang mengarah pada peningkatan profitabilitas perusahaan. Penelitian ini membahas pengendalian proses adjustment pada proses produksi cat tembok dengan menggunakan pendekatan Six Sigma (DMAIC). Dengan analisis data dapat diketahui jenis adjustment terbesar adalah strenght dengan presentase sebesar 59.5%. Selanjutnya, perhitungan dengan pendekatan six sigma didapatkan rata-rata nilai DPMO sebelum perbaikan adalah 108499.095, yield (%) adalah 58.13 % dan rata rata nilai sigma yang didapat adalah 2.73. Setelah dilakukan perbaikan nilai DPMO turun menjadi 68656.716, yield (%) mengalami kenaikan menjadi 70.94% dan nilai sigma naik menjadi 2.99.
