Abstract

This research aims to determine the level of thermal comfort including air temperature, relative air humidity, and wind speed resulting from the design of Builsing Envelope in the traditional "Joglo Kudus" house building, with the orientation of the building facing south. The research was conducted at Bentara Budaya Jakarta located on Jalan Palmerah Selatan No.17 Central Jakarta. The method used in this study is a quantitative method that is equipped with qualitative methods. Quantitative methods obtained from direct measurements in the field in sunny weather conditions starting at 09:00 to 17:00 Wita conducted in 1 day in a room in three, namely room A, room B and room C. The results of the analysis can be analyzed by entering the measurement data in the PMV and PPD ASHRAE calculation methods- 55 accessed via http://comfort.cbe.berkeley.edu/ to get a great level of thermal comfort. The quantitative method was obtained from a questionnaire distributed to 25 users of the room. The level of thermal comfort in this research is air temperature, humidity and wind speed. The results showed that based on direct measurements in the field and PMV and PPD calculation of room A with the highest value, namely at point 2 of the inlet opening and point 4 just below the roof top, followed by room B point 9 position under the highest roof and room C at point 6 side of the opening inlet such as in room A. Based on the results of the questionnaire point with the highest score at point 6 in room C. It can be concluded that the area adjacent to the inlet opening is the most convenient for activity and in addition to paying attention to the height of the roof, the open inlet and outlet opening ratio must meet the requirements. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui tingkat kenyamanan termal meliputi temperatur udara, kelembaban udara relatif, dan kecepatan angin yang dihasilkan dari desain selubung di unit rumah tradisional Joglo Kudus dengan kondisi orientasi bangunan menghadap selatan.Penelitian dilaksanakan di Bentara Budaya Jakarta di jalan Palmerah Selatan No.17 Jakarta Pusat. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode Kuantitatif yang dilengkapi dengan metode kualitatif. Metode kuantitatif didapatkan dari pengukuran langsung di lapangan dalam kondisi cuaca cerah mulai pukul 09.00 – 17.00 Wita yang dilakukan dalam 1 hari di dalam ruang pada tiga ruang rumah joglo Kudus yaitu ruangan A, ruangan B dan ruangan C dianalisa dengan memasukkan data hasil pengukuran dalam metode hitung PMV dan PPD ASHRAE-55 di akses melalui http://comfort.cbe.berkeley.edu/. untuk mendapatkan besar tingkat kenyamanan termal. Metode kuantitatif didapatkan dari kuesioner yang dibagikan kepada 25 orang pengguna ruangan.tingkat kenyamanan termal dalam penelitian ini adalah temperatur udara, kelembaban udara dan kecepatan angin. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa berdasarkan pengukuran langsung dilapangan dan perhitungan PMV dan PPD ruangan A dengan nilai tertinggi yaitu pada titik 2 sisi inlet bukaan dan titik 4 tepat dibawah puncak atap, disusul ruangan B titik 9 posisi dibawah atap tertinggi dan ruangan C pada titik 6 sisi inlet bukaan seperti pada ruangan A. Berdasarkan hasil kuesioner titik dengan skor tertinggi pada titik 6 pada ruangan C . Dapat disimpulkan bahwa daerah yang berdekatan dengan inlet bukaan adalah paling nyaman untuk beraktifitas dan selain memperhatikan ketinggian atap, Rasio inlet bukaan dan outlet bukaan harus memenuhi ketentuan.
