Abstract
PT Bearing Indonesia is a company engaged in the field of automotive manufacturing that produces bearings as its main product. In the manufacturing industry, especially the automotive manufacture is highly demanded for accuracy in product delivery to customers. The large number of requests from customers makes the production experience a delay in delivery. At this time the company's scheduling conditions are not optimal so it affects the production which makes delivery hampered. The purpose of this research is to minimize the production time or makespam using the NEH method which will affect to reduce the production time and makespam of companies that use the FCFS method as a scheduling method and the Johnson Cambpbell method as a comparison method. The NEH method seeks to makepam by finding the shortest time of production or SPT (Shortes Processing Time). In this study the NEH method is able to reduce the makespam. Keywords: Scheduling, FCFS, NEH, Campbell Johnson PT Bearing Indonesia merupakan perusahaan yang bergrerak dibidang manufaktur otomotif yang memproduksi bearing sebagai produk utamanya. Di dalam industry manufactur khususnya manufactur otomotif sangat dituntut ketepatan dalam delivery produk kepada customer. Banyaknya permintaan dari customer membuat produksi mengalami keterlambatan dalam delivery. Pada saat ini kondisi penjadwalan perusahaan belum optimal sehingga berpengaruh terhadap produksi yang membuat delivery terhambat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meminimalkan waktu produksi atau makespam dengan menggunakan metode NEH yang akan berpengaruh untuk mengurangi waktu produksi dan makespam perusahaan yang menggunakan metode FCFS sebagai metode penjadawalan serta metode Johnson Cambpbell sebagai metode pembanding. Metode NEH mencara makespam dengan mencari waktu terpendek dari produksi atau SPT (Shortes Processing Time). Dalam penelitian ini metode NEH mampu mengurangi makespam.
