Abstract

Education Exclusive breastfeeding at the beginning of birth is very important especially for nursing mothers to grow and develop children so that the nutrition of the baby is fulfilled, but the lack of knowledge and myths about exclusive breastfeeding make mothers reluctant to give exclusive breastfeeding for 6 months, even though breastfeeding is very It is important to optimally improve the health and quality of baby food. The purpose of this design is to provide information about exclusive breastfeeding about the benefits and importance of breast milk and guidance on breastfeeding with illustrations as explanatory media in the delivery of information, the stages in this design include data collection, conceptualization, and design. The process of collecting data is obtained from the literature relating to the theory of design principles, visual strategies, observations, and documentation that will be used as materials to determine the appropriate concept for the design of the booklet "Let's Care for ASI", "because it is easier to understand audiance and become a new attraction in convey information about exclusive breastfeeding. This research is intended for the public so that the public better understands the importance of exclusive breastfeeding campaigns which are communicated through illustrated book media. Keywords: Exclusive Breastfeeding, Information, Illustration Edukasi Pemberian ASI eksklusif pada awal kelahiran sangat penting khusus nya bagi ibu menyusui untuk tumbuh kembang anak agar gizi bayi terpenuhi, namun kurang nya pengetahuan dan mitos yang salah mengenai ASI eksklusif membuat ibu enggan untuk memberikan ASI eksklusif selama 6 bulan, padahal pemberian ASI sangat penting untuk meningkatkan kesehatan dan mutu makanan bayi secara optimal. Tujuan perancangan ini untuk memberikan informasi tentang ASI eksklusif seputar manfaat dan penting nya ASI serta panduan mengenai ASI dengan ilustrasi sebagai media penjelas dalam penyampaian informasi,tahapan dalam perancangan ini meliputi pengumpulan data,penyusunan konsep, dan pembuatan desain. Proses pengumpulan data diperoleh dari literatur yang berkaitan dengan teori prinsip desain,strategi visual,observasi,dan dokumentasi yang akan dijadikan bahan untuk menentukan konsep yang sesuai untuk perancangan booklet “Yuk Pedul ASI”,” karna lebih mudah dipahami audiance dan menjadi daya tarik baru dalam menyampaikan informasi tentang ASI eksklusif. Penelitian ini ditujukan bagi masyarakat agar masyarakat lebih memahami kampanye pentingnya ASI eksklusif yang di komunikasikan melalui media buku ilustrasi.
