Abstract
Heavy equipment in the mining industry has a huge workload so that the level of availability of heavy equipment should be high so that production operations running smoothly. Availability machine dependent one on the improvement and maintenance are carried out by the operator. But often encountered repair and maintenance actions are carried out not touch the root of the problem as the improvements made after the issue, it will increase the cost of maintenance which can contribute greatly to the cost of production. One of the tools that support production activities in the mining area of PT VALE Indonesia, Tbk is haultruck. Haultruck availability level should reach the target, it is necessary for haultruck performance measurement tool that can compare actual performance with the targets set tool company. Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) is one of the tols that companies use to calculate the component so as to provide input for improvement of engine maintenance system or appliance. Keywords: machine maintenance , OEE and FMEA. Alat berat pada industri pertambangan memiliki beban kerja yang besar sehingga tingkat ketersedian alat berat harus tinggi agar operasi produksi berjalan dengan lancar. Ketersediaan alat berat bergantung salah satunya pada upaya perbaikan dan pemeliharaan yang dilakukan oleh operator. Namun sering dijumpai tindakan perbaikan dan pemiliharaan yang dilakukan tidak menyentuh akar permasalahan seperti perbaikan yang dilakukan setelah terjadi masalah, hal ini akan meningkatkan biaya pemeliharaan yang dapat berkontribusi besar terhadap biaya produksi. Salah satu alat yang mendukung kegiatan produksi di area mining PT VALE Indonesia, Tbk adalah Haultruck. Tingkat ketersediaan haultruck harus mencapai target yang ditetapkan, untuk itu diperlukan alat pengukuran kinerja haultruck agar Analysis mencapa dapat membandingkan kinerja actual alat dengan target yang ditetapkan perusahaan. Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) merupakan salah satu alat yang digunakan perusahaan menghitung kinerja alat berat mereka. Pendekatan mengunakan perhitungan OEE dan analisis mengunakan Failure Mode and Effect Anal (FMEA) dapat diketahui komponen kritis sehingga dapat memberikan masukan untuk perbaikan system perawatan mesin atau alat.
