Abstract

The use of Indonesian waste is very minimal, especially local waste that is often found. One way to reduce the waste is by utilizing it as a filler in asphalt concrete mixture which is one type of pavement that is widely used in Indonesia, then one of the waste materials that will be tried to replace the filler material (Filler), in this study is a tile shard waste clay. The purpose of the study by using clay tile powder as a filler is to determine whether the addition of clay tile powder as a filler in AC-WC pavement can affect the characteristic value of Marshall. Testing is done by combining some variations between filler powder tile and Portland cement (25% -100%) with a Marshall Test to get the characteristics of asphalt mixture, namely the value of VIM (Void in Mix), VMA (Void in Material Aggregate), Liquid (Flow) , and Stability, MQ (Marshall Quotient). After testing, the Optimum Asphalt Level (KAO) data is 6.4% and the optimum asphalt level is 34%. The highest stability value is found in the variation of 25% tile powder and 75% Portland Cement in the amount of 2034.56 kg at a standard 30 minute immersion at 60 °C. Keywords: Laston AC-WC, Filler, Waste, Clay Tile Powder, Marshall test Penggunaan limbah diindonesia sangat minim dimanfaatkan terutama limbah lokal yang sering dijumpai. Salah satu cara mengurangi limbah tersebut dengan cara memanfaatkan sebagai filler pada campuran aspal beton yang merupakan salah satu jenis lapis perkerasan yang banyak digunakan di indonesia maka salah satu bahan limbah yang akan dicoba untuk mengganti bahan pengisi (Filler), pada penelitian ini yaitu limbah pecahan genteng tanah liat. Tujuan penelitian dengan penggunaan serbuk genteng tanah liat sebagai filler adalah untuk mengetahui apakah penambahan serbuk genteng tanah liat sebagai filler pada perkerasan AC-WC dapat mempengaruhi nilai karakteristik marshall. Pengujian dilakukan dengan menggabungkan beberapa variasi antara filler serbuk genteng dan semen Portland (25%-100%) dengan dilakukan Marshall Test untuk mendapatkan karaktersitik campuran aspal yaitu nilai VIM (Void in Mix), VMA (Void in Material Agregate), Kelelehan (Flow) , dan Stabilitas,MQ (Marshall Quotient). Setelah dilakukan pengujian didapat data Kadar Aspal Optimum (KAO) sebesar 6,4% dan nilai kadar aspal optimum sebesar 34%. Nilai stabilitas tertinggi terdapat pada variasi 25% serbuk genteng dan 75% Semen Portland yaitu sebesar 2034,56 kg pada perendaman standart 30 menit dengan suhu 60°C.
