Abstract

The increasing development of the city of Jakarta has led to an increase in population, with an increase in population resulting in increased use of vehicles. The increase in vehicles that are not in accordance with the improvement of roads in the city of Jakarta makes the roads in the city of Jakarta vulnerable to congestion. One of them, T.B. Simatupang road is a link between Tanjung Barat Raya and Bogor Raya roads. Congestion that occurs on the road, has the potential to reduce the performance of roads along with the absence of a u-turn along the TB Simatupang road, causing congestion in both directions, significant impact of the existence of a back turn (u-turn) in front of the UNINDRA campus (T.B Simatupang road). Research needs to be done related to the analysis of the impact of side barriers (u-turn) on the performance of the T.B Simatupang road section expressed by free flow velocity, capacity and degree of saturation. The study used geometric survey data for the Juanda road section, the volume of vehicles passing during the rush hour on weedays dan weekend.. Data on population numbers as coefficient values in the analysis were obtained from South Jakarta BPS. Analysis of the performance of the T.B Simatupang road section based on the 1997 Indonesian Road Capacity Manual (MKJI). Keywords: Performance Of Roads, T.B Siamatupang road, MKJI 1997. Meningkatnya perkembangan kota Jakarta menyebabkan bertambahnya jumlah penduduk, dengan adanya peningkatan jumlah penduduk mengakibatkan meningkatnya penggunaan kendaraan. Peningkatan kendaraan yang tidak sesuai dengan peningkatan jalan di kota Jakarta menyebabkan jalan di kota Jakarta rentan dengan kemacetan. Salah satunya, jalan T.B. Simatupang merupakan penghubung antara jalan Tanjung Barat Raya dan jalan Raya Bogor. Kemacetan yang terjadi pada jalan tersebut, berpotensi menurunkan kinerja ruas jalan ditambah tidak adanya putaran balik(u-turn) disepanjang jalan T.B Simatupang, menjadi penyebab kemacetan dikedua arah, dampak signifikan adanya putaran balik(u-turn) di depan kampus UNINDRA (jalan T.B Simatupang). Perlu dilakukan penelitian terkait analisis dampak hambatan samping (u-turn) terhadap kinerja ruas jalan T.B Simatupang yang dinyatakan dengan kecepatan arus bebas, kapasitas dan derajat kejenuhan. Penelitian menggunakan data survey geometrik ruas jalan Juanda, volume kendaraan yang melintas pada jam sibuk dihari weedays dan weekend.. Data jumlah penduduk sebagai nilai koefisien dalam analisis didapat dari BPS Jakarta Selatan. Analisis kinerja ruas jalan T.B Simatupang berdasarkan Manual Kapasitas Jalan Indonesia (MKJI) 1997.
