Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of work stress and employee engagement on job performance employees at marketing division BPJS Ketenagakerjaan DKI Jakarta region. The research data is the collected data from interviews, questionnaires and supporting documents from Human Capital BPJS Ketenagakerjaan for 3 years in a row from 2013 to 2015. The sampling method using convenience sampling method. From a population of 300 people, the sample used 172 people as well. The analytical method used in this research is multiple linear regression. The results showed work stress and employee engagement together (simultaneously) significantly influence job performance. Partially show that work stress is significant positive effect on job performance, while employee engagement significant positive effect on job performance. Employee engagement is the biggest significant variable in influencing the job performance marketing division BPJS Ketenagakerjaan DKI Jakarta region. Keywords : work stress, employee engagement and job performance Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh stress kerja dan employee engagement terhadap kinerja karyawan bidang pemasaran BPJS Ketenagakerjaan wilayah DKI Jakarta. Data penelitian merupakan data yang dihimpun dari wawancara, kuesioner dan data penunjang dari Deputi Direktur Bidang Human Capital BPJS Ketenagakerjaan bidang pemasaran selama 3 tahun berturut-turut dari 2012 sampai 2015. Metode sampling yang digunakan adalah convenience sampling yaitu sampel yang dipilih dengan pertimbangan kemudahan. Dari populasi 300 orang, sampel yang digunakan adalah sebesar 172 orang. Metode analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan stres kerja dan employee engagement secara bersama-sama (simultan) berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kinerja. Secara parsial menunjukkan bahwa stress kerja berpengaruh signifikan positif terhadap kinerja, sedangkan employee engagement berpengaruh signifikan positif terhadap kinerja. Employee engagement merupakan variabel yang paling besar pengaruhnya terhadap kinerja karyawan bidang pemasaran BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Wilayah DKI Jakarta.
