Abstract
PT. Adhi persada Beton is a precast manufacturing company where one of the factories is located in Sadang, Purwakarta, West Java. Among what is being done in the factory are Round piles. The average production capacity of round piles in 2019 to June 2020 is <50 rods from the plan of 60 rods per day. Meanwhile, market needs are due to the increase in infrastructure projects that require up to 500 piles per day (Market Data 2019). There is waste in the spun pile production work, which affects the production capacity which has a very important role for the production plan to meet market needs. This study analyzes waste evaluation with a lean construction approach to identify waste, the causes of waste, and design waste improvements. With the Waste Assessment Questionnaire (WAQ) method, the results of the top 3 waste rankings are waiting (21.37%), defects (21.36%) and Inventory (19.77%). With the root cause analysis (RCA) method, found 5 root causes of waste, as well as 6 alternative remedial designs due to waste with an explanation of 5W + 1H. Adhi presada Beton merupakan salah satu perusahaan manufaktur precast dimana salah satu pabriknya berada di Sadang, Purwakarta–Jawa Barat. Diantara yang dikerjakan dipabrik tersebut adalah tiang pancang Bulat. Kapasitas produksi tiang pancang bulat pada tahun 2019 s.d Juni 2020 rata-rata per hari adalah < 50 batang dari rencana 60 batang per hari. Sedangkan kebutuhan pasar karena meningkatnya proyek-proyek infrastruktur yang membutuhkan tiang pancang hingga 500 batang tiap hari nya (Data Pasar 2019). Terdapat pemborosan (waste) pada pekerjaan produksi tiang pancang bulat (spun pile), yang mempengaruhi kapasitas produksi dimana memiliki peran yang sangat penting bagi rencana produksi untuk memenuhi kebutuhan pasar. Penelitian ini menganalisis evaluasi waste dengan pendekatan lean construction untuk mengidentifikasi waste, penyebab waste, dan perancangan perbaikan waste. Dengan metode Waste Assessment Questionnaire (WAQ) didapat hasil 3 peringkat teratas waste yaitu waiting (21.37 %), defect (21,36 %) dan Inventory (19.77%). Ditemukan 5 akar permasalahan penyebab waste dengan metode Root cause analysis (RCA), serta 6 alternatif rancangan perbaikan akibat waste dengan penjelasan 5W+1H.
