Abstract
Baby diaper bags are a product that many parents are interested in when they have a baby. At present the design has evolved at first, baby diaper bags have childish shapes such as bright colors and animal characters. But the current design is more devoted to its users, namely to the parents so that the shape is more adapted like a bag in general but the function of a baby diaper bag is not removed. The results of observations, many baby diaper bags are made specifically for women and very few are made specifically for men. From interviews with fathers, very few fathers want to carry their wife's baby diaper bags due to their feminine shape. The need for a special baby diaper bag for men because when dad and baby are just traveling alone, father will not be ashamed to bring his wife's baby diaper bag because of the special male diaper bag. Apart from the form of things that need to be considered are activities in traveling when with a baby, namely changing diapers, clothes and making milk. There needs to be a system that can simplify the process of this activity. The design method was adopted from David Kelley with the stages of discovery, interpretation, ideation, experimentation and evolution. The system of pockets that can move positions or the authors call it moveable pocket was chosen as the main principle that can provide ease of mobilization when changing diapers, clothes and making milk. The advantage of this product is that the user does not need to remove the bag from his body because with moveable pocket the need for activities to change diapers, clothes and make milk can be fulfilled. Key word : diaper bag, daily, travel, moveable pocket Tas popok bayi merupakan produk yang banyak diminati para orangtua ketika mereka memiliki bayi. Saat ini desain sudah berkembang pada awalnya tas popok bayi memiliki bentuk yang kekanakan seperti warna yang cerah dan karakter hewan. Tetapi desain saat ini lebih dikhususkan untuk penggunanya yaitu untuk para orangtua sehingga bentuk lebih disesuaikan seperti tas pada umumnya tetapi fungsi dari tas popok bayi tidak dihilangkan. Hasil observasi, tas popok bayi banyak ditemukan dibuat khusus untuk wanita dan hanya sedikit sekali yang dibuat khusus untuk pria. Dari hasil wawancara dengan para ayah, sedikit sekali para ayah mau membawa tas popok bayi milik istrinya dikarenakan bentuknya yang feminim. Perlunya dibuat tas popok bayi khusus pria karena disaat ayah dan bayi hanya bepergian berdua saja, ayah tidak akan malu membawa tas popok bayi milik istrinya karena dengan adanya tas popok bai khusus pria. Selain dari bentuk hal yang perlu diperhatikan adalah kegiatan dalam bepergian ketika bersama bayi yaitu mengganti popok, pakaian dan membuat susu. Perlu adanya sistem yang dapat mempermudah dalam proses kegiatan ini. Metode perancangan diadopsi dari David Kelley dengan tahapan discovery, interpretation, ideation, experimentation dan evolution. Sistem kantong yang dapat berpindah posisi atau penulis menyebutnya moveable pocket dipilih sebagai prinsip utama yang dapat memberikan kemudahan mobilisasi ketika melakukan ganti popok, pakaian dan membuat susu. Keunggulan produk ini adalah pengguna tidak perlu melepaskan tas dari tubuhnya karena dengan moveable pocket kebutuhan akan kegiatan mengganti popok, pakaian dan membuat susu sudah bisa terpenuhi.
