Abstract

Hydrogen potential sensors are widely applied, namely for progress and needs such as checking water conditions, soil conditions, testing food, and other health departments. Therefore in this study the hydrogen potential sensor was developed using paper electrodes by coating red epoxy resin as a protector for duplex paper electrodes. After that, coating is done on one side of the surface of the paper electrode using carbon paste. The results of the study and testing that the polypyrrole (ppy) membrane was polymerized over the surface layer of carbon paste by the cyclic voltammetry method were prepared using several cycles. Where in this study shows the value of cycles with optimum found on 13 cycles with Nernst number (slope) produced which is equal to 58.02 mv / decade Keywords : Potassium Chloride (KCl), Carbon Paste, Polypyrrole (PPY), pH sensor, duplex paper electrodes, Buffer solution 4.7, and 10. Sensor potential hydrogen banyak diaplikasikan yaitu untuk kemajuan dan keperluan seperti mengecek kondisi air,kondisi tanah,menguji makanan, maupun bagian kesehatan lainya. karena itu Dalam penelitian ini sensor potential hydrogen dikembangkan dengan menggunakan elektroda kertas dengan melakukan pelapisan red epoxy resin sebagai pelindung untuk elektroda kertas jenis duplex. Setelah itu dilakukan pelapisan di salah satu sisi permukaan elektroda kertas dengan menggunakan yaitu carbon paste. Hasil penelitian dan pengujian bahwa membran polypyrrole (ppy) dipolimerisasikan diatas lapisan permukaan carbon paste dengan metode voltametri cyclic yang dipreparasi dengan menggunakan beberapa cycles. Dimana dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan nilai cycles dengan optimum terdapat pada 13 cycles dengan bilangan Nernst (slope) yang dihasilkan yaitu sebesar 58,02 mv/dekade Kata kunci : Kalium Chloride (KCl),Carbon Paste, Polpypyrrole (PPY), sensor pH, elektroda kertas duplex,Buffer solution 4,7,dan 10
