Abstract
Many industries and households are in dire need of electricity. However, more and more electricity usage is proportional to the existing electrical energy. Solar energy has potential as a producer of electricity. It is necessary to present an energy analysis to find out the amount of electrical energy that can be generated and solar energy in the southern Meruya area, Mercu Buana University. in this research, the first step is to conduct a literature study on books that discuss solar electricity energy analysis, journals, and research that has been carried out relating to the analysis of solar electric energy potential. The data obtained from this literature study will be used as a reference to make a questionnaire study. Based on the results of research on sunlight energy in South Meruya for 30 days on 01-30 January 2020 the lowest average radiation occurred on the 24th & the highest average radiation on 27 January 2020 ie 59 W / m ^ 2 - 336 W / m ^ 2. the electric power generated is equal to 0.22 - 1.26 Watt per day with a panel area of 0.0032 m ^ 2. Keywords: Electric energy, Electric power, Sunlight, Radiation, Solar panels. Banyak pelaku industri maupun rumah tangga sangat bergantung dengan energi listrik. Namun, semakin tingginya penggunaan listrik belum sebanding dengan ketersediaan energi listrik yang ada. Energi matahari mempunyai potensi sebagai penghasil listrik, perlu adanya analisis energi untuk mengetahui berapa besar potensi daya listrik yang dapat dihasilkan dan energi matahari pada daerah meruya selatan, Universitas Mercu Buana. Dalam penelitian ini, langkah pertama yaitu dengan melakukan studi literature pada buku – buku yang membahas tentang analisis potensi energi listrik tenaga matahari, jurnal, dan penelitian yang telah dilakukan yang berkaitan dengan analisis potensi energi listrik tenaga matahari. Data yang didapat dari studi literature ini akan digunakan sebagai acuan untuk membuat kuisioner penelitian. Berdasarkan dari hasil penelitian perhitungan potensi energi sinar matahari di Meruya Selatan selama 30 hari pada tanggal 01 – 30 januari 2020 rata rata radiasi terendah terjadi pada tanggal 24 & rata rata radiasi tertinggi pada tanggal 27 januari 2020 yaitu 59 W/
