Abstract

At this time the need for clean fresh water in the world including Indonesia continues to increase. The source of water used is still limited to the use of ground water or water from the PDAM. With a problem in the need for clean water, designed a water harvester from the air called the atmospheric water generator (AWG). To determine the ability or performance of this AWG, it is necessary to perform a performance analysis so that this device can be used according to the target and a long time to use. Retrieval of this data using the experimental method or measurement of data directly. Performance data recorded in the form of coefficient of performance (COP), efficiency, minimum power, as for supporting data such as bank data characteristics of research locations and the results of discharge water condensation from AWG. Specifically for research location characteristics data, data taken came from BMKG website pages. From the results of this study, COP values from ordinary water and radiators were 2.76 and 2.22. For the results of the largest condensation discharge there is a variation of the radiator water in Tangerang City at 0.0100 L / min. Meanwhile, for the Kota Tangerang area it has the most potential compared to North Jakarta with a humidity of 84.34%, a wind speed of 1.25 m / s, and a temperature of 27.86 degrees celsius during January to May 2020. For the minimum and maximum power values obtained are 6.78 watts and 62.2 watts. Keyword : Atmospheric water generator, efficiency, performance. Pada saat ini kebutuhan air tawar bersih di dunia termasuk Indonesia terus meningkat. Sumber air yang digunakanpun masih sebatas penggunaan air tanah atau air dari PDAM. Dengan adanya masalah dalam kebutuhan air bersih, dirancanglah perangkat pemanen air dari kelembaban udara yang disebut atmospheric water generator (AWG). Untuk mendapatkan kemampuan atau performa dari AWG ini maka perlu dilakukan analisis perfoma agar alat ini dapat digunakan sesuai target dan waktu pakai yang lama. Pengambilan data ini menggunakan metode eksperimen atau pengukuran data secara langsung. Data performa yang dicatat berupa coefficient of performance (COP), efisiensi, daya minimum, adapun data pendukung sepeti data bank karakteristik lokasi penelitian dan hasil debit air pengembunan dari AWG. Khusus untuk data karakteristik lokasi penelitian data yang diambil berasal dari laman website BMKG. Dari hasil penelitian ini didapatkan nilai COP dari air biasa dan radiator sebesar 2,76 dan 2,22. Untuk hasil debit air pengembunan terbesar ada pada variasi air radiator pada Kota Tangerang sebesar 0,0100 L/menit. Sedangkan itu, untuk daerah Kota Tangerang memiliki potensi paling besar dibandingkan dengan Jakarta Utara degan kelembaban 84,34 %, kecepatan angin 1,25 m/s, dan temperatur 27,86 derajat celsius selama bulan Januari sampai Mei 2020.
