Abstract

The objectives of this study were to examine the relationship between workforce agility and individual readiness for organizational change of employee in human resources department in Jakarta. There were 113 respondents with a position in human resources department in Jakarta selected through convenience sampling. The instruments of this research use measurement tools which adapted and modified with 37 items for workforce agility (Sherehiy, 2008) with Cronbach’s Alpha 0.952 and 20 items for individual readiness for organizational change (Holt, 2007) with Cronbach’s Alpha 0.959. Data analysis uses mean, standard deviation, and correlation techniques Spearman Rank. The result showed that a positive and significant relation between workforce agility and individual readiness for organizational change (r = 0,347; p = 0,000). It means that the higher the workforce agility an employee has, the higher his individual readiness for organizational change. Keywords: Workforce agility, individual readiness for organizational change, change Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara workforce agility dengan individual readiness for organizational change pada karyawan Human Resources Department di Jakarta. Responden penelitian ini sebanyak 113 karyawan dengan posisi dibagian human resources department di Jakarta yang terpilih secara convenience sampling. Instrumen penelitian ini menggunakan alat ukur hasil adaptasi dan modifikasi dengan total 37 aitem untuk workforce agility (Sherehiy, 2008) dengan Cronbach’s Alpha 0,952 dan 20 aitem untuk individual readiness for organizational change (Holt, 2007) dengan Cronbach’s Alpha 0,959. Analisis data menggunakan nilai rata-rata (mean), standar deviasi, dan teknik korelasi Spearman Rank. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara workforce agility dengan individual readiness for organizational change (r = 0,347; p = 0,000). Artinya semakin tinggi workforce agility yang dimiliki karyawan, maka semakin tinggi readiness for organizational change pada dirinya.
