Abstract

Signalized intersection Jl. Raya Merdeka and Jl. Imam Bonjol in Karawaci, Tangerang City, during peak hour often has a queue of vehicles on the three approach. The long queue of vehicles on the three approah is due to the high volume of the vehicle, which crosses this intersection at the same time and has exceeded the capacity limit or junction capacity. This study aims to determine the performance of signal intersection and sections Jl. Raya Merdeka and Jl. Imam Bonjol which is measured by capacity, degree of saturation, and level of service (level of service). To evaluate and improve the performance of intersection and sections Jl. Raya Merdeka and Jl. Imam Bonjol required primary data in the form of road geometric data, traffic volume, cycle and phase of sig, vehicle speed data on roads and side obstacle data. And requires secondary data such as location maps for data collection, statistical data on population growth, as well as traffic growth. The analytical method used guidance to the highway capacity manual project 1997 (HCM 1997). Based on the results of data analysis that has been carried out, on Tuesday at 17.00-18.00 WIB is the densest traffic volume that occurs at the intersection, the service level ranges from the value of E-F in the morning-afternoon period. The proposal that can be given at this intersection is to change the number of lanes in the east approach. For roads, problems only occur on the Jl. Imam Bonjol, in the afternoon the level of service is at level D. The solution for the road by returning the effective width of the sidewalk according to its geometric We, by arranging stalls so as not to break the sidewalk, and vehicles parked on the sidewalk can be arranged and the level of service up to C. Keywords: Intersection and road performance, degree of saturation, service level (LOS), speed.Karawaci, Tangerang. Simpang bersinyal Jl. Raya Merdeka dan Jl. Imam Bonjol di kecamatan Karawaci kota Tangerang, pada jam-jam sibuk sering mengalami antrian kendaraan pada tiga lengan simpang tersebut. Antrian kendaraan yang cukup panjang pada tiga lengan simpang tersebut dikarenakan tingginya volume kendaraan, yang melintasi simpang ini pada waktu yang bersamaan dan telah melampaui batas daya tampung atau kapasitas persimpangan. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kinerja simpang bersinyal dan ruas Jl. Raya Merdeka dan Jl. Imam Bonjol yang diukur berdasarkan kapasitas, derajat kejenuhan, dan tingkat pelayanan ( level of service ). Untuk mengevaluasi dan meningkatkan kinerja simpang dan ruas Jl. Raya Merdeka dan Jl. Imam Bonjol diperlukan data primer berupa data geometrik jalan, volume lalu-lintas, data waktu lampu lalu-lintas, data kecepatan kendaraan pada ruas jalan dan data hambatan samping. Serta memerlukan data sekunder seperti peta lokasi pengambilan data, data statistik jumlah pertumbuhan penduduk, dan juga pertumbuhan lalu-lintas. Metode analisis yang digunakan mengacu kepada manual kapasitas jalan 1997 (MKJI 1997). Berdasarkan hasil analisis data yang telah dilakukan, pada hari selasa pukul 17.00-18.00 WIB merupakan volume lalu-lintas terpadat yang terjadi pada simpang tersebut, tingkat pelayanan berkisar pada nilai E-F pada periode pagi-sore. Usulan yang dapat diberikan pada simpang ini adalah mengubah jumlah lajur pada pendekat timur. Untuk ruas jalan, masalah hanya terjadi pada ruas Jl. Imam Bonjol, di sore hari tingkat pelayanannya berada pada tingkat D. Solusi untuk ruas jalan dengan mengembalikan lebar efektif trotoar sesuai We geometriknya, dengan mengatur warung-warung agar tidak keluar batas trotoar, dan kendaraan yang parkir di atas trotoar dapat di tertibkan dan tingkat pelayanannya naik menjadi C. Kata kunci : Kinerja Simpang dan ruas jalan, derajat kejenuhan, tingkat pelayanan (LOS), kecepatan, Karawaci, Tangerang.
