Abstract
This research aims to know how healthy the Islamic Banks are, if measured using the Risk, Governance, Earnings, Capital (RGEC) and Maqashid Syari'ah Index (MSI) approaches in 2013-2017. The type of research used is descriptive research with a quantitative approach. This research using 6 samples of BUS namely BMI, BRIS, BSM, BNIS, BMS and BCAS. The RGEC aspect uses CPI measurements and the Maqashid Syari'ah aspect uses MSI measurements and then compared both using Cartesian diagram. The results of this research showed that the ranks of RGEC with the CPI method were BCAS, BMS, BNIS, BRIS, BSM and BMI while based on the Maqashid Syari'ah Index (MSI), the first to last rank was BCAS, BMI, BRIS, BNIS, BSM and BMS. This results in a ranking that is variable because both methods have advantages in each of each element. Keywords: RGEC, MSI, CPI, Health Level Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana tingkat kesehatan bank umum syariah, jika diukur menggunakan pendekatan Risk, Governance, Earnings, Capital (RGEC) dan Maqashid Syari’ah Index (MSI) pada tahun 2013-2017. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah jenis penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan 6 sampel BUS yaitu BMI, BRIS, BSM, BNIS, BMS dan BCAS. Aspek RGEC menggunakan pengukuran CPI dan Aspek Maqashid Syari’ah menggunakan pengukuran MSI kemudian dibandingkan menggunakan diagram kartesius. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peringkat berturut-turut RGEC dengan metode CPI adalah BCAS, BMS, BNIS, BRIS, BSM dan BMI sedangkan berdasarkan Maqashid Syari’ah Index (MSI) menunjukkan peringkat pertama hingga terakhir ialah BCAS, BMI, BRIS, BNIS, BSM dan BMS. Hal tersebut menghasilkan peringkat yang berfariatif karena kedua metode tersebut memiliki kelebih pada masing-masing pada setiap elemen. Kata Kunci : RGEC, MSI, CPI, Tingkat Kesehatan
