Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the effect of the accounting practice development and the accounting information system design to the eaccounting technology. This research is conducted to the Accountant Service Offices in Indonesia that have been listed in the Ministry of Finance of Republic of Indonesia by using questionnaire from December 2018 until May 2019. This research is a causal research with the e-accounting technology in the Accountant Service Offices as dependent variable and the effect of the accounting practice development and the accounting information system design as the independent variable. Total samples of this research are 250 samples by using the incidental sampling as sampling method. The analysis method used in this research is quantitative analysis method such as descriptive statistics, data quality tests, classic assumption tests, model feasibility tests and hypothesis tests. The research results showed that the accounting practice development and the accounting information system design significantly affected the e-accounting technology. These results proved that with many accounting practices encouraged the needs of e-accounting technology to simplify and quicken the works, and that a well-designed accounting information in form of system can increase the accuracy of the e-accounting technology in the Accountant Services Offices in creating the accounting-based technology. Keywords: accounting practice development, accounting information system design, e-accounting technology, Accountant Service Offices Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pengembangan praktik akuntansi dan rancangan sistem informasi akuntansi terhadap teknologi eaccounting. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada Kantor Jasa Akuntan di Indonesia yang terdaftar di Kementerian Keuangan Republik Indonesia dengan menggunakan kuesioner pada bulan Desember 2018 sampai Mei 2019. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kausal dengan teknologi e-accounting di Kantor Jasa Akuntan sebagai variabel terikat dan pengaruh pengembangan praktik akuntansi dan rancangan sistem informasi akuntansi sebagai variabel bebas. Jumlah sampel dari penelitian ini adalah 250 sampel dengan menggunakan incidental sampling sebagai metode pengambilan sampel. Metode analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode analisis kuantitatif seperti statistik deskriptif, uji kualitas data, uji asumsi klasik, uji kelayakan model dan uji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan praktik akuntansi dan rancangan sistem informasi berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap teknologi eaccounting. Hasil ini membuktikan bahwa dengan banyaknya praktik akuntansi mendorong kebutuhan diperlukannya teknologi e-accounting untuk mempermudah dan mempercepat pekerjaan, dan bahwa informasi akuntansi yang dirancang dengan baik dalam bentuk sistem akan meningkatkan keakuratan teknologi e-accounting Kantor Jasa Akuntan dalam menciptakan teknologi berbasis akuntansi.
