Abstract
Raw material inventory control is very important in the production process in companies engaged in industry. Good handling and control of the inventory will make the production process of a product more efficient. This research was conducted to find out what is the most efficient technique in the Material Requirement Planning (MRP) method for controlling raw material inventory in producing Wosklin Matic Detergents at PT. Wosklin Prima. PT. Wosklin Prima has a problem in handling the inventory of Wosklin Matic Detergent raw materials because there is no specific method for measuring optimal inventory. Based on these problems, the MRP is used with the Lot for Lot (LFL), Economic Order Quantity (EOQ), Periodic Order Quantity (POQ) techniques. The cost of each of the three techniques is calculated, and then compared to find out the most efficient technique. The results of the cost calculation of the three techniques found that the most efficient total cost is the LFL MRP technique, with savings reaching 52%. And the most inefficient is the EOQ technique. Keywords: Inventory, MRP, LFL, EOQ, POQ Pengendalian persediaan bahan baku sangat penting dalam proses produksi di perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang industri. Penanganan dan kontrol persediaanyang baik akan membuat proses produksi suatu produk menjadi lebih efisien. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui teknik apakah yang paling efisien dalam metode Material Requirement Planning (MRP) untuk pengendalian persediaan bahan baku dalam memproduksi Deterjen Wosklin Matic di PT. Wosklin Prima. PT. Wosklin Prima mempunyai masalah dalam penanganan persediaan bahan baku Deterjen Wosklin Matic karena belum ada metode khusus untuk mengukur persediaan yang optimal. Berdasarkan masalah tersebut maka disusunlah MRP dengan teknik Lot for Lot (LFL), Economic Order Quantity (EOQ), Periodic Order Quantity (POQ). Masing-masing MRP dari ketiga teknik tersebut dihitung biayanya, lalu dibandingkan untuk diketahui teknik yang paling efisien. Hasil perhitungan biaya ketiga teknik tersebut didapatkan bahwa total biaya keseluruhan yang paling efisien adalah MRP teknik LFL, dengan penghematan mencapai 52%. Dan yang paling tidak efisien adalah teknik EOQ. Kata kunci : Persediaan, MRP, LFL, EOQ, POQ
