Abstract

PT. SINERGI uses Agile as a software development method. The software development stages that have been carried out namely, User Requirement, Development, SIT (Script Integration Testing), UAT (User Acceptance Test), and Go Live. These stages are carried out in each stage of the 2 phases of software development. At the SIT and UAT stages, the testing of development stage result is carried out to ensure that the application can be run as agreed on FSD (Functional Specifications Document). Bugs are found quite often and there are requests from clients when SIT and UAT are in progress. Procedure for recording bugs or requests by clients when SIT or UAT is still done manually, namely through a short message or direct email to the Project Manager or the corresponding PIC, which is then recorded on Google Sheets. The procedure still has shortcomings felt by the team caused by miscommunication and the Google Sheets that quite numerous sometimes make them confused. Seeing this problem, the writer concludes that a Helpdesk system is needed to report bugs and assist the project team in managing the bug records. The system development method used is Waterfall, system analysis method using PIECES, system modeling with UML (Unified Modeling Language) method, PHP-based programming (Hypertext Preprocessor) with Codeigniter framework, and database with MySQL. Key words: Helpdesk, Agile, Waterfall, Codeigniter. PT. SINERGI menggunakan Agile sebagai metode pengembangan perangkat lunak. Tahap-tahap pengembangan perangkat lunak yang dilakukan yakni, User Requirement, Development, SIT (Script Integration Testing), UAT (User Acceptance Test), dan Go Live. Tahap-tahap ini dilakukan di setiap fase dari 2 fase pengembangan perangkat lunak. Pada tahap SIT dan UAT dilakukan testing dari hasil tahap Development untuk memastikan aplikasi dapat berjalan sebagai mestinya sesuai dengan yang disepakati pada FSD (Functional Specification Document). Cukup sering ditemukan bugs dan adanya permintaan – permintaan dari klien saat tahap SIT dan UAT sedang berlangsung. Prosedur pencatatan bugs atau permintaan oleh klien pada saat SIT maupun UAT masih dilakukan secara manual, yaitu melalui pesan singkat atau email langsung kepada Project Manager atau PIC proyek terkait, yang kemudian dicatat pada Google Spreadsheet. Prosedur tersebut masih memiliki kekurangan yang dirasakan oleh tim yang secara umum disebabkan oleh miskomunikasi dan Spreadsheet yang begitu banyak sehingga tak jarang membuat bingung. Melihat kondisi tersebut penulis berkesimpulan bahwa dibutuhkan suatu sistem Helpdesk untuk mencatat bugs dan membantu tim proyek dalam melakukan manajemen catatan bugs tersebut. Metode pengembangan sistem yang digunakan adalah Waterfall, metode Analisa system menggunakan PIECES, pemodelan sistem dengan metode UML (Unified Modelling Language), pemrograman berbasis PHP (Hypertext Preprocessor) dengan framework Codeigniter, dan database dengan MySQL. Kata kunci: Helpdesk, Agile, Waterfall, Codeigniter.
