Abstract

Body Inner (Muffler Comp) is the inside of the motorcycle exhaust part. In the process of production, the Roll Machine is designed and made to be able to do the rolling process from the sheet plate to a component. Fulfillment of consumer needs for part needs is the basic in the design and development of roll machines. In the process of designing and manufacturing the machine, it is expected to be able to improve quality, efficient use of time and achieve production targets. Using the concept of the QFD (Quality Function Deployment) approach is used to bring together perceptions between consumers, namely PT Yutaka Manufacturing Indonesia and producers, namely PT Kurnia Mustika Indah Lestari so that the solution for the machine design used to make the machine is obtained. There are 7 attributes that are used as the basic for forming a roll machine design that is carried out by data processing and analysis. This study is intended to evaluate the design of the machine so that later it can make a promotion and can be sold on the market, adding value to existing competitiveness with the outside world, especially the manufacturing industry. It was found that the final result of this study was the roll machine design based on the proposed component specifications made at PT KMIL by considering the costs incurred with how important these needs must be realized. Keywords: product, process, manufacturing, design, machine, QFD. Body Inner (Muffler Comp) merupakan bagian dalam dari part knalpot sepeda motor. Dalam prosesnya produksinya, Mesin Roll dirancang dan dibuat untuk dapat melakukan proses pengerollan dari lembaran plat menjadi sebuah komponen tersebut. Pemenuhan kebutuhan konsumen terhadap kebutuhan part menjadi dasar dalam perancangan dan pengembangan mesin roll. Pada proses perancangan dan pembuatan mesin ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kualitas, efisiensi penggunaan waktu dan mencapai target produksi. Dengan menggunakan konsep pendekatan metode QFD (Quality Function Deployment) digunakan untuk mempertemukan persepsi antara konsumen yaitu PT Yutaka Manufacturing Indonesia dan produsen yaitu PT Kurnia Mustika Indah Lestari sehingga didapatkan solusi penyelesaian desain mesin yang digunakan untuk membuat mesin tersebut. Terdapat 7 atribut yang dijadikan dasar untuk membentuk rancangan desain mesin roll yang dilakukan pengolahan data dan analisa. Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk mengevaluasi desain mesin agar nantinya dapat menjadikan sebuah promosi dan dapat dijual di pasar, menambah nilai daya saing yang ada dengan dunia luar khususnya industri manufaktur. Didapatkan bahwa hasil akhir dari penelitian ini adalah desain mesin roll berdasarkan usulan spesifikasi komponen yang dibuat di PT KMIL dengan mempertimbangkan biaya yang dikeluarkan dengan seberapa penting kebutuhan tersebut harus diwujudkan.
