Abstract

PT FS is a manufacturing company that produces the product in the form of electrical panel. The Panel produced a floorstand and wallmount. over time, the demand has increased, wallmount panel in July 2017 rose by 1.85% from the previous month. Because of the availability of the sheetmetal is not proportional to the number of requests panel, causing the stopping of production process for 6 days. Therefore, in this study using materials requirement planning (MRP) for balancing between the need and the demand for wallmount panel sheetmetal. before pembutan MRP, do demand forecasting method using moving average, moving average, weight single exponential smoothing, and linear regesi. Of the fourth such forecasting using MSE, MAD, and MAPE for accuracy in forecasting. And the value taken is the smallest value. The fourth method of divination used value is MAD, MSE, and the smallest MAPE is a method of moving average that is amounting to 22.15; 2134.53; and 8.99%. After forecasting is done, determine the lot sizing. The technique used is a lot for lot (LFL), economic order quantity (EOQ), period order quantity (POQ), and fixed order quantity (FOQ). Of the four techniques used are chosen the most minimum total cost i.e. lot for lot. Then the results of the determination of the tekik lot with lot for lot used to make material requirement planning. Key word: moving average, weight moving average, single exponential smoothing, regesi linear ,LFL, EOQ, POQ, EOQ, MRP PT FS merupakan sebuah perusahaan manufaktur yang menhasilkan produk berupa panel listrik. Panel yang diproduksi berjenis floorstand dan wallmount. seiring berjalannya waktu, permintaan panel wallmount mengalami peningkatan, yaitu pada bulan Juli 2017 naik sebesar 1,85% dari bulan sebelumnya. Karena jumlah ketersediaan sheetmetal tidak sebanding dengan jumlah permintaan panel, menyebabkan berhentinya proses produksi selama 6 hari. Oleh karena itu, dalam penelitian ini menggunakan material requirement planning (MRP) untuk menyeimbangkan antara kebutuhan sheetmetal dan permintaan panel wallmount. sebelum pembutan MRP, dilakukan peramalan permintaan menggunakan metode moving average, weight moving average, single exponential smoothing, dan regesi linear. Dari keempat peramalan tersebut menggunakan MAD, MSE, dan MAPE untuk akurasi dalam peramalan. Dan nilai yang diambil adalah nilai yang terkecil. Dari keempat metode peramalan yang digunakan yang memiliki nilai MAD, MSE, dan MAPE terkecil adalah metode moving average yaitu sebesar 22,15; 2134,53; dan 8,99%. Setelah peramalan dilakukan, menentukan lot sizing. Teknik yang digunakan adalah lot for lot (LFL), economic order quantity (EOQ), period order quantity (POQ), dan fixed order quantity (FOQ). Dari keempat teknik yang digunakan dipilih total biaya yang paling minimum yaitu lot for lot. Kemudian hasil penentuan lot dengan tekik lot for lot digunakan untuk membuat material requirement planning.
