Abstract

The vehicle is a means of transportation used to deliver someone to a certain destination. Of course everyone wants their valuables to be safe. This writing discusses the creation of a web-based vehicle monitoring system. This prototype was made aiming to monitor vehicles owned to keep them safe. The system is made by utilizing a GPS tracker in which there is GSM accompanied by internet access to send data to the destination server. With internet access, the device can be monitored mobile via the web. In the construction of a prototype this includes several processes, including configuring the GPS tracker gt06n device to the traccar server and the traccar application can read data from the server so that the vehicle can be monitored its position. Based on the test results, the GPS can read the location every one time bit in a matter of 10 seconds as contained in the data recording in the Traccar application in table 4.5. From the data taken there is only a 9-second delay from the 10-second deadline and into the excelent category. So the vehicle is always monitored and adds security. Keywords: Prototype, GPS tracker, GSM, traccar server Kendaraan merupakan alat transportasi yang digunakan untuk mengantarkan seseorang ke suatu tujuan tertentu. Tentunya setiap orang ingin barang berharga yang dimilikinya selalu aman. Penulisan ini membahas mengenai pembuatan suatu sistem monitoring kendaraan berbasis web. Prototipe ini dibuat bertujuan untuk memonitoring kendaraan yang dimiliki agar selalu aman. Sistem yang dibuat dengan memanfaatkan GPS tracker yang didalamnya terdapat GSM yang disertai akses internet untuk mengirimkan data ke server tujuan. Dengan adanya akses internet, perangkat dapat di monitoring secara mobile melalui web. Dalam pembangunan sebuah prototipe ini meliputi beberapa proses, antara lain konfigurasi perangkat GPS tracker gt06n ke server traccar dan aplikasi traccar dapat membaca data dari server sehingga kendaraan dapat dimonitor posisinya. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian, GPS dapat membaca lokasi setiap satu kali bit dalam hitungan 10 detik seperti yang terdapat dalam rekaman data di aplikasi Traccar pada tabel 4.5. Dari data yang diambil hanya terdapat delay 9 detik dari deadline 10 detik dan masuk kedalam kategori excelent. Sehingga kendaraan selalu terpantau serta menambah keamanan.
