Abstract
In the current era of globalization it is very easy to get information. Information is obtained very quickly. The speed and accuracy of information, especially in companies, is very important. The information referred to is related to employee data or the process of developing employee personal data such as the process of filing leave, remaining leave, filling working hours or changing employee data. For this reason, it is necessary to have a system that is able to run online so as to facilitate employees in doing so and facilitate the management in recapitulating employee data. With this background, the author intends to design an employee self-service (ESS) application where employees can apply for leave online, get time off leave information, make changes to personal data, fill in work time, get information related to salary. In designing this system, using the PIECES and UML analysis methods as the development tools used. The results of this study are information system designs that can be immediately implemented at PT. Solusindo's Data Technology is used in terms of time and cost efficiency in processing employee data Key words: Information, UML, day off, employee, ESS Pada era globalisasi saat ini sangat mudah untuk mendapatkan suatu informasi. Informasi pun didapatkan dengan sangat cepat. Kecepatan dan ketepatan suatu informasi khususnya dalam perusahaan sangatlah penting. Informasi yang dimaksud terkait data karyawan ataupun proses proses pengembangan data personal karyawan seperti halnya proses pengajuan cuti, sisa cuti, pengisian jam kerja maupun perubahan data karyawan. Untuk itu perlu adanya suatu sistem yang mampu berjalan secara online sehingga memudahkan karyawan dalam melakukan hal hal tersebut dan memudahkan pihak manajemen dalam rekapitulasi data karyawan. Dengan latar belakang demikian, penulis bermaksud untuk merancang aplikasi employee self-service (ESS) dimana karyawan dapat melakukan pengajuan cuti secara daring, mendapatkan informasi sisa cuti, melakukan perubahan data diri, melakukan pengisian waktu kerja, mendapatkan informasi terkait gaji. Dalam perancangan sistem ini, menggunakan metode analisis PIECES dan UML sebagai alat pengembangan yang digunakan. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah rancangan sistem informasi yang dapat segera diimplementasikan pada perusahaan PT. Data Teknologi Solusindo guna dalam efisiensi waktu, dan biaya dalam pengolahan data karyawan Kata kunci: Informasi,UML,Cuti, Karyawan, ESS
