Abstract
Air pollution is a physical, chemical, and biological substance that can endanger health and can cause disease in living things, air is one of the basic elements for living things. The monitoring system in this study refers to data obtained from three sensor combinations, an Air quality sensor to measure air quality levels, an MQ-7 sensor as a carbon monoxide (CO) gas gauge, a MQ-135 sensor as a carbon dioxide (CO2) gas gauge . Make a tool that can measure air quality with good accuracy, improve air circulation in the room and maintain its quality, within the threshold of ISPU or WHO standards and reduce dangerous air levels which can directly harm health. The results of this study indicate that the system is able to detect air quality and gas content with a response speed of 0.5 seconds when the system is tested in an MI room (indoor, air-conditioned) with a room temperature of 27ºC, humidity 63% on average The level of air quality in the MI room when tested was 29.7 ppm. As for CO2 gas levels are 10.90 ppm and for CO gas levels the average is 1.48 ppm. Keywords: monitoring, air quality, Internet of Things, ISPU (Air Pollution Standard Index), ESP32, Ubidots, Sensors. Polusi udara adalah zat fisik, kimia, maupun biologi yang dapat membahayakan kesehatan dan dapat menimbulkan penyakit pada makhluk hidup, udara merupakan salah satu unsur pokok bagi makhluk hidup. Sistem monitoring pada penelitian ini mengacu pada data yang didapatkan dari tiga kombinasi sensor, sensor Air quality sensor untuk mengukur kadar kualitas udara, sensor MQ-7 sebagai pengukur gas karbon monoksida(CO), sensor MQ-135 sebagai pengukur gas karbon Dioksida (CO2). Membuat alat yang dapat mengukur kualitas udara dengan akurasi yang baik, Memperbaiki sirkulasi udara dalam ruangan dan menjaga kualitas-nya, masuk dalam ambang batas standar ISPU atau WHO serta Mengurangi kadar udara berbahaya yang secara langsung dapat merugikan kesehtan. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa sistem yang dibuat mampu mendeteksi kualitas udara dan kadar gas dengan kecepatan respon 0,5 detik saat sistem dilakukan uji coba pada ruang MI (dalam ruangan, ber-AC) dengan suhu ruangan 27ºC, kelembaban 63% rata-rata Kadar kualitas udara didalam ruang MI saat dilakukan pengujian yaitu 29,7 ppm. Sedangkan untuk kadar gas CO2 adalah 10.90 ppm dan untuk kadar gas CO rata-rata 1.48 ppm.
