Abstract

In this paper we present the design and implementation of a ChatOps. ChatOps has already been identified as instrumental for success DevOps practice, ChatOps is about bringing your DevOps tools into your team chatroom. The recentz rise of professional collaboration services like Slack or Hipchat shows that people are embracing a new way of collaborating. Bringing your tools within those conversations tightens the feedback loop, improves information sharing and onboarding new people in your team. Some common operations implemented with chatops includes deployments, provisioning, monitoring, graphs, development tracking. Those are often implemented with the help of a chat bot like in this presentation SlackBot. If your ChatOps system can be easily extended, for example here in SlackBot, we will see that a team culture can crystallize around it with fun additions. This presentation's goal is to show you how easy it is to get started with ChatOps in Slack, with some technical tips installation, configuration setup, and build continuous integration continuous delivery pipeline for software development and how to make simple your daily operational and also with simple analytics for monitoring tools, to make your company understand better its potential for your team. Key words: ChatOps, DevOps, Slack, CI/CD, Pipelines Pada paper ini kami hadirkan desain dan penerapan suatu ChatOps. ChatOps telah diidentifikasi sebagai alat untuk membantu penerapan DevOps, ChatOps adalah tentang membawa alat DevOps ke dalam ruang obrolan tim anda. Baru-baru ini kenaikan dari layanan kolaborasi profesional seperti Slack atau Hipchat menunjukkan bahwa orang-orang menghadapi cara baru untuk berkolaborasi. Membawa alat anda dalam percakapan tersebut memperketat loop umpan balik, meningkatkan berbagi informasi dan onboard orang baru di tim anda. Beberapa operasi yang diterapkan bersama chatops mencakup deployment, provisioning, monitoring, grafik, pelacakan development. Itu sering kali dilaksanakan dengan bantuan dari chat bot seperti dalam presentasi SlackBot ini. Jika sistem ChatOps mu bisa diperluas dengan mudah, contohnya disini di SlackBot, kita akan melihat budaya tim bisa mengkristal di sekitarnya dengan tambahan yang menyenangkan. Tujuan presentasi ini adalah untuk menunjukkan betapa mudahnya memulai dengan ChatOps dengan Slack, dengan beberapa tips teknis instalasi, konfigurasi konfigurasi, dan membangun jalur jalur pengiriman berkelanjutan terpadu untuk pengembangan perangkat lunak dan bagaimana membuat sederhana operasional harian anda dan juga dengan analisis sederhana untuk memonitor alat, untuk membuat perusahaan anda mengerti potensi tim anda dengan lebih baik.
